Pandora Diner in Springfield: Review

I arrived at the Pandora Diner in early February, soon after a trip to the Columbus Flea Market. If you’re looking for the closest diner to the flea market…this one is it!

I have a new theory about diners. When the wait staff is dressed in button down shirts and ties, it’s going to be a more fancy dining experience where the prices are high. However, in this instance I was wrong. Although the impeccably dressed waiters matched the more fancy interior of the diner, their prices were very reasonable for their very large menu.

Unsure of what to get, I passed by many people walking to our table who had very large salads. Not being a huge salad fan, because you don’t win friends with salad, I decided to look at what they had anyway. WOW was it a big selection and the prices were super reasonable. For $10.99 I got a salad with a choice of soup, and it came with garlic bread. That’s a bargain!

The name of the soup escapes me, but basically it was a chicken and vegetable soup. Their were big chunks of chicken and vegetables, so really it was a meal in itself. Very filling.

For my salad I got the Tuscany salad which was chicken, portabella mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, carrots, and peppers on top of lettuce and served with a balsamic vinaigrette. HUGE salad. I only got through a quarter of it before boxing the rest up and taking it home. I did eat all the garlic bread though…

Overall, a very pleasant expeirence at the Pandora Diner. I really enjoyed the food, and I thought the service was great. There were lots of great options on their menu, and their dessert display was very tempting. They have a great counter as well, and since the diner is near a military base they had lots of army patrons.

Check them out if you’re in town! *Note Their google address says Mount Holly, but their menu says Springfield Township. Either way, they are a proud part of Burlington county.
