PwnEm Con invites avid and casual video game fans alike to mark their calendars for this upcoming event. On August 2nd, 2014, gamers can flock to Cesar Hall at 561 60th St., in West New York, New Jersey, for a fun-filled day of video gaming and friendship.
PwnEm Con celebrates the gamer in each convention participant, regardless of skill level and age. During this momentous day dedicated to gamers, participants from surrounding areas who share a common interest for video games can drop by Northern New Jersey, which is very close to New York City and accessible via public transportation. It is a time to socialize with other gamers and of course, show off those skills in friendly video game battles. There will be cooperative play as well for those who prefer to work together to complete a game.
PwnEm Con 2014 is ensuring that a video game convention remains fun and focuses on actual gaming rather than rummaging through vendors. Several gaming stations will have a skill based challenge for games such as Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition on Wii U, and Robotron: 2084 on Xbox 360 which will net a reward for those who are victorious. There will also be a random drawing for POP! Heroes #29 – Superman, The Red Solstice (PC), and Bit Boy!! Arcade for the 3DS amongst other prizes.
PwnEm Con 2014 attendees in New Jersey will get to enjoy popular games on various platforms, including the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and much more. The event also features games on retro consoles such as the Nintendo NES, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast. PC games include various indie and classic titles such as Retro City Rampage and Duke Nukem. While the convention mostly features multiplayer games, there will be single player stations as well.
To take a break from all the electronic madness, PwnEm Con 2014 will also feature a board game collection of fun and easy games to play.
Interested gamers wishing to attend this New Jersey Video Game Event can choose between the standard Gamer ticket priced at $15 and the Elite Gamer ticket which sells for $25.
