Jersey City Restaurant Week
Now – March 20
Experience local restaurants with takeout and contactless delivery as well as in-person dining promotions. JC Food businesses need your support now more than ever. Variety of restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines all over Jersey City—from Greenville to Grove Street. The event will benefit charity partners for 2022: New City Kids Inc. This organization provides teen leadership, development and performing arts opportunities to at-risk, low-income children and teenagers in Jersey City. 20% of each participating restaurant’s application fee will be donated to help young people in the community through this work.

St. Paddy’s Day Weekend Pub Crawls
March 17 – 19
This St. Patrick’s Day, Haddon Township will “go green” with their annual two-day St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl and Haddon Square celebration. The St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl will feature a free jitney service from 2 – 10 pm for all Crawl participants along the route. The jitneys will run to and from all participating Crawl establishments, including Keg & Kitchen, Pour House, Treno Pizza Bar, Brewer’s Towne Tavern, Central Taco & Tequila, PJ Whelihan’s, Tap Room & Grill, and Tom Fischer’s Tavern. Jitneys will also stop at the Westmont PATCO train station and Haddon Square. No tickets or cover charges are necessary.

Spring Equinox Celebration: Full Moon Rising
March 18, 7PM – 9PM
To celebrate the 2022 Vernal Equinox, Rancocas is targeting the large meadow for sights and sounds. Suitable for older teens and adults, this outdoor evening gathering will combine naturalist observations, astronomy, live music, and camaraderie for a relaxing, outdoor event. Bring a chair and picnic basket (if desired) and we’ll provide fire pits to warm your fingers and toes. Masks are required inside the Visitors Center, and where social distancing is not possible. Inclement weather cancels.

2022 Shamrock Shuffle B’ville with USATF-NJ Grand Prix 5K
March 19, 9AM
After a long second covid winter, grab your running shoes — and maybe some running friends — and join for some fresh spring air, exercise, and St. Patrick’s Day cheer. Race day will include a USATF-certified Grand Prix 5K on a challenging and scenic certified course, a 2-mile walk, a free kids fun run, festive music, Irish dancing, face painting, and more. Wear your green and join in the fun of this very special show. This annual event features a variety of bands including Church Street Revival, Celtic Heirs, Shenanigans Songs of Ireland old & new, and a special performance by Irish Step Dancers.

18th Annual Highlands St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 19
The colorful festivities will highlight Irish culture with nearly 100 marching units including bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, and beautifully decorated floats. The parade will begin at Waterwitch Avenue and extend along Bay Avenue. The 2022 Grand Marshals are Nancy Burton and Eileen Ricco, proprietors of In The Garden, Highland, NJ.

Keyport St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 19, 1:30PM
The parade begins at 1:30pm at St. Joseph’s Church on Maple Place, the parade will move over West Fourth Street and continue on Maple Place to Broad Street where it will then head down to West Front Street, ending at Fireman’s Park. The Keyport Fire Department hosts the yearly St. Patrick’s Day Parade which features live music, floats, entertainment, participating community organizations, and of course Fire Department Apparatus.

Bayonne St Patrick’s Day Parade
March 20, 1PM
Beginning at 1pm, the parade will begin on Broadway and 5th Street, proceeding north to 39th Street where we turn west to Avenue C and end at the entrance of Stephen R. Gregg/Bayonne County Park.

South Amboy St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 20, 12PM
Marchers will line up on South Pine Avenue starting at 12 PM. The parade then takes the following route: Head North on S. Pine St, Turn Right onto Bordentown Avenue, Turn Left onto South Stevens, Turn Right on 2nd Street, Turn Right on Broadway, and ends on Broadway at the reviewing stage.

Holi Celebration- Spring Color Blast

Holi is a vibrant and popular ancient Indian festival, also known as the “Festival of Love”, the “Festival of Colors” and the “Festival of Spring”. Holi is a time for fun and celebration with friends, family, and strangers! Join this community festival filled with color, music, dancing, and crafts! Celebrants are encouraged to wear white clothes that they will not mind having stained with lots of colors! Masks are not required but encouraged. Color packets will be available for sale at the event.
