It’s Earth Day Weekend! We are all in on Spring and events are really popping up in New Jersey. Now that it’s warmer, we can leave the house to explore what NJ has to offer (or not, you do you). Here are my top ten picks for April 22 – 24, 2022.

Union Craft Crawl
April 23, 10AM – 4PM
The Union Craft Crawl is a mobile craft show of Union crafters and artists. We are inviting customers to drive to the locations of participating crafters. A map of crafters/artists will be published by the Union Craft Crawl, so that customers know where to go. There will be a great selection of beautiful handmade items, such as pottery, paper art, paintings, photography, crochet/knitted pieces, jewelry, and so much more. This event will be held a few weeks before Mother’s Day and is a great opportunity to buy something special, while visiting a great community, and spending a day getting to know Union, NJ. Grayrock N Roll Spring Festival
April 23, 9AM – 4PM
This Spring festival will have 60+ vendors selling everything from handmade home decor, CBD products, candles, fashion, delicious baked treats, toys, jewelry, art and so much more! Additionally, they’ll have food trucks, a firetruck, activities for kids, and everyone gets to meet their friendly farm animals. Free event, $5 to park.

Kites at the Pier Festival
April 23, 9AM – 4PM
A day of great family fun featuring kite flyers from all areas of the eastern seaboard flying their most incredible creations! Every kind of kite imaginable will be at the annual Kites at the Pier Festival. Kites of all shapes and sizes – from inflatable flying creatures to traditional kites – will be flying high over the beach between Avenue and McLoone’s Pier House in Long Branch. A dazzling display of giant kites will be visible for miles and miles.

Shad Festival

Now in its 39th year, The Shad Festival has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized award-winning event. Shad Fest features the area’s finest artists and crafters, great food, and family entertainment, but the two-day extravaganza also serves as a venue for local non-profit organizations to raise necessary operating funds.
