NJ Wine Expo
November 9, 11 am – 7 pm
Join the New Jersey wine community at their inaugural NJ Wine Expo on November 9, at Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ. This one-of-a-kind event will feature the largest gathering of New Jersey’s wineries and vineyards in history! More than 30 New Jersey wineries and vineyards will come together in one location for an historic tasting event that showcases the burgeoning local wine scene of our state. This historic event is perfect for both passionate wine enthusiasts and novice drinkers who enjoy tasting and learning about the extensive varieties of wine produced throughout New Jersey. At this event you will get to meet the winemakers, stroll between winery tables sampling more than 130 hand selected wines, hear from industry insiders, and find out how to plan your next trip through the NJ Wine Country. Plus, choose from an array of local food vendors to purchase small bite culinary cuisine.

LSC After Dark
November 5, 6 pm – 10 pm
A great party, delicious bites and drinks, and a twist of science! Liberty Science Center presents LSC After Dark, exclusively for guests 18 and up, every Thursday from 6:00 – 10:00 pm. Each event features a fun theme with a menu to match, dance floor, live DJ, a full bar (for guests 21+) and planetarium and laser shows. And all of the museum’s exhibits are open, too! In October LSC After Dark will have a different Halloween theme! Event themes include Murder at the Museum and Freak Show. When you purchase LSC After Dark tickets, you help the nonprofit Liberty Science Center provide even more programs for our community and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Let It Glow: A Holiday Lantern Spectacular
Begins November 7. Thursday – Sundays thru January 12th, 2025
Larger-than-life glowing lanterns have been installed creating 30+ glowing scenes. See animals real and imagined laid out throughout the zoo.

Veterans Day Glassmaking at WheatonArts

Thanking members of the armed forces for their service, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center is offering free Make-Your-Own experiences to veterans and active duty military during the Veterans Day Glassmaking program from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024. With the expert guidance of our glass artists, learn how to shape hot molten glass into a beautiful Air Trap Paperweight using a historic antique mold unique to WheatonArts! Just Jersey and the South Bound Brook Fire Company present the inaugural Taco & Empanada Festival on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Memorial Park in South Bound Brook. This family-friendly event offers gourmet food trucks, a beer and sangria garden, live music from DJ Louis, kids’ activities, a zip line, vendors, and more—all to benefit the South Bound Brook Fire Company.
