LSC After Dark: Dino Nite
Thursday, November 6, 6 pm – 10 pm

A great party, delicious bites and drinks, and a twist of science! Liberty Science Center presents LSC After Dark, exclusively for guests 18 and up, every Thursday from 6:00 – 10:00 pm. Each event features a fun theme with a menu to match, dance floor, live DJ, a full bar (for guests 21+) and planetarium and laser shows. And all of the museum’s exhibits are open, tooWhen you purchase LSC After Dark tickets, you help the nonprofit Liberty Science Center provide even more programs for our community and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

The Garden State Wing & Dessert Fest
November 8, 12 pm – 5 pm

Guests can dive into the Wing Battle Royale, where vendors will serve up an array of bone-in and boneless wings in every style imaginable—sweet, spicy, smoky, and everything in between. Those with a sweet tooth can head to the Sweet Escape section, featuring cakes, cookies, and cool desserts to balance the heat. Attendees get the chance to vote for the champions and help crown the Best Wings and Best Dessert in the Garden State. For the brave, the Chicken Wing Eating Contest, sponsored by BBQ Pit NJ, will challenge contestants to see who can handle the most heat for a shot at glory. A new twist for this event brings the action both indoors and outdoors, with vendors cooking up the heat outside and serving it fresh inside—making the event a true rain-or-shine flavor showdown. Sample-sized portions will be available, giving guests the chance to taste a wide variety of dishes throughout the day.

Everything Fab Four Fest
November 6 – 8

The inaugural “Everything Fab Four” Fest will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Beatles’ “Rubber Soul” album over three days of curated content, concerts, conversations and more. Taking place at the historic Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park, special guests will include Max Weinberg, Jake Clemons, the Weeklings, the Black Ties, Nellie McKay and many others, including 60 of the world’s leading Beatles experts and authors. A limited number of meet & greet options are available with Max and Jake, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Light of Day Foundation. EF4Fest is presented by Wonderwall and Salon, and sponsored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music.

Let It Glow: A Holiday Lantern Spectacular

Season at Hill Creek Farms

Enjoy picking your own fruits, vegetables, and herbs—plus, don’t miss the beautiful sunflower fields open for U-Pick. Savor delicious farm-to-table cuisine from Haddon Culinary, relax in the wine garden by Auburn Road Winery, and enjoy live music, kids’ activities, and more. Join us for a fun-filled experience at the farm! U-Pick farming will be open every Friday through Sunday (including Columbus Day) during the season. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is a U-Pick admission fee of $20 per vehicle (not per person, but per VEHICLE). This fee includes a hayride for your family. On Fridays, there is no admission fee; you only pay for what you pick! Please note: there is never an admission fee to visit the Market, Bakery, Wine Garden, or Loft. Annual Teaneck International Film Festival
November 6 to 13

With the support of the nonprofit organization Puffin Foundation, Ltd., a small group of dedicated volunteers set out, more than 20 years ago, to create an event that would present a collection of compelling and imaginative feature-length films, documentaries, and shorts from a variety of cultures that would lead audiences to question, debate, and become caring and involved citizens who recognize the need to institute positive change. TIFF has found its niche on the film festival circuit, and, having been dubbed by the Star-Ledger, “the film festival with a social conscience,” is growing in reputation as well as numbers.

Appel Farm’s 65th Anniversary Weekend
November 7 – 9

A vibrant weekend of art, music, and community, honoring the connections, shared memories, and radiant spirit that make Appel Farm a creative home for all. A day pass for Friday 11/7 includes the Friday Night Concert, dinner, and campfire. A day pass for Saturday 11/8 includes all activities including arts workshops, kindred groups, jam session etc. starting at 8am on Saturday through the campfire at night.
