Riverdale’s Annual Labor Day Street Fair
September 1, 10 am – 5 pm

Riverdale’s Annual Labor Day Street Fair, hosted by the Borough of Riverdale, takes place along the Newark Pompton Turnpike from Newbury Place to Cotluss Road on Labor Day Monday. The street transforms into a lively block party with quality exhibitors, an arts and crafts section, live entertainment, over 15 food trucks, and a variety of local vendors. Guests can enjoy gourmet festival foods, live music, dancing, demonstrations, and the “Kidz Traveling Shindig” featuring rides, games, and activities for children. This family-friendly tradition offers fun, food, and entertainment for the entire community.

Hoboken Italian Festival
September 4 – 7

The Hoboken Italian Festival is a four day festival of music food and fun from Thursday through Sunday. No day is greater however than Saturday, aka “Feast” day. The day the 800lb statue of the Madonna Dei Martiri or Madonna of the Martyrs is carried through the streets of Hoboken.

Wood Street Fair
September 6, 9 am – 4 pm

Wood Street Fair is a much anticipated annual event which takes place in the midst of the Historic City of Burlington, New Jersey. Brought to you by the Colonial Burlington Foundation, this popular event draws over 25,000 visitors and is comprised of more then 175 of the areas finest artisans and crafters. Tour for free one of New Jersey’s oldest houses, the Revell House (ca. 1685), fabled site of Burlington’s hospitality to Benjamin Franklin. Feast on yummy treats such as Gingerbread, Pumpkin, Blueberry or Cranberry Breads & Gingerbread Men. Tour the Carriage House (ca. 1876) between 11:00am-4:00pm.

There is just one more chance to experience the best food trucks on the Jersey Shore! The  Annual Ocean County Irish Festival, hosted by The Order of the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh, Ocean County Chapter, offers a fantastic day with free admission, parking, and shuttle service. Enjoy a beer garden, diverse food vendors, live Irish music, and performances by the Ocean County Emerald Society Pipes & Drum Band and Irish step dancers. The feel-good spirit of Highlands  ANNUAL Oktoberfest is modeled after the traditional Munich, Germany Oktoberfest with an emphasis on eating; drinking and being merry while providing something for everyone. Authentic German food, live music, dancing and other great entertainment will be part of the Annual Oktoberfest celebration taking place in Veterans Park on Bay & Shrewsbury Avenues. The park is festive with fall decorations, the food is great and the varieties of German beers are even better. Authentic German food is a highlight of this famous festival. Executive Chef Butch Greenwaldt is preparing the menu with plenty of traditional German favorites hot off the grill such as bratwurst, knockwurst, kraut, potato pancakes, goulash, sauerbraten, and Bavarian noodles along with another tasty fare those less adventurous.
