Warren County Farmers’ Fair and Balloon Festival
July 26 – August 2
The Warren County Farmers Fair featuring the Hot Air Balloon Festival is a cherished family tradition that offers a unique blend of agricultural exhibits and modern entertainment. The event features an array of attractions, including demolition derbies, hay bale rolling in the Agricultural Olympics, and mass hot air balloon launches every evening. Visitors can enjoy tethered balloon rides, carnival rides, and various children’s activities at the Kids Corral. The fair also hosts competitions like the Belvidere FFA Alumni & Supporters Car, Truck & Tractor Show, and numerous home and garden contests. Celebrate our Stars & Stripes – Concert & Fireworks

This celebration features a 25-minute fireworks program over the Raritan Bay. The launch will have over 3,000 shells and effects, including glittering, strobe, and whistling, with various colors synchronized to a patriotic musical compilation produced by Garden State Fireworks. The best views to enjoy the Celebrate Stars & Stripes Fireworks Spectacular Show will be from Sadowski Parkway in Perth Amboy, the Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy, The celebration will also feature food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and live music at 3 PM on Sadowski Parkway in Perth Amboy and at the Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy.

Independence Day on the Raritan at East Jersey Village Old Town

Step back in time and celebrate Independence Day on the banks of the Raritan River on Friday, July 4, from 8:30 am-4 pm at East Jersey Old Town Village—Middlesex County’s premier historical site for living history. This free, family-friendly event is open to the media and public. Presented by the Division of History and Historic Preservation and the Arts Institute of Middlesex County, the day will kick off with the inaugural Revolutionary Celebration Run, an exciting 5k race, followed by a fun day filled with historical stories, patriotic-themed music, and food.

Smithville 4th of July Parade

Come out and celebrate our Nations’ birth! Historic Smithville has the largest Fourth of July parade in all of New Jersey. The parade will start at 9 a.m. with an expected 10,000 people to line the parade route. If you are interested in participating in the Fourth of July Parade you must pre-register. Historic Smithville offers 50 Shoppes, 7 eateries, carousel ride, train ride, paddle boats, on-site lodging at the Colonial Inn and over 26 free weekend events.

Movern Museum’s Fourth of July Festival
July 4, 12 pm – 3 pm
This is a free public event featuring activities at Morven Museum & Garden and the Princeton Battlefield State Park. Stop by Morven any time between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. for activities and artmaking with community partners; garden tours; face painting; music from the Vintage Vibe Tribe; food trucks; a chance to sign the Declaration of Independence; and more. A short distance away, check out the Princeton Battlefield State Park where you can visit the historic Clarke House and hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

This all day fun family event, with crowds in the hundreds of thousand, have turned out for the most memorable sights, sounds and sensations of the summer season. At Oceanfest, visitors can stroll the famous beachfront, take in the wonderful views, enjoy performances by dancers, musicians, clowns and musical acts, sample from a smorgasbord of food vendors, and check out the wares of crafters from all over the northeast. Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival
July 14 – July 20
This event features a full week of excitement,and entertainment with engaging events throughout the city. The highlights of the week are the top-tier air show performances by state-of-the-art aircraft in a festive atmosphere over the beach on Tuesday and Wednesday. A MiG-17 fighter jet, a B-25 Mitchell bomber, F-16 Fighting Falcons, and various aerobatic performances and fly-bys and demonstrations, with a contribution from members of the New Jersey National Air Guard. The 177th Fighter Wing, based in NJ, will be sending four F-16 Fighting Falcons to overfly the festival. On Wednesday evening, beachfront Fireworks display by Grucci will be fired over the water.

The Newark Black Film Festival (NBFF)is one of the nation’s defining voices on behalf of independent film. New Jersey Bronco Invasion

The New Jersey Bronco Invasion is an annual all Bronco event held in Wildwood, New Jersey. This unique, family friendly event offers three days of Bronco activities, daily parking on the beach, access to the industry’s top vendors, and an opportunity to play on our exclusive beach obstacle course. Sandy Sprint Sea Isle City 5K Walk/Run

The Jersey Shore is turning teal this summer as participants lace up their sneakers and head to the ninth annual Sandy Sprint Sea Isle City 5K Walk/Run. Hosted by the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation (SROCF), the 5K run and two-mile Family Fun Walk will take place at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Each year, the Sandy Sprint unites survivors, families, and supporters to raise funds for ovarian cancer research and spread awareness. SROCF has raised over 6 million in research grants, while continuing to educate millions across the country. The Sandy Sprint has become a vibrant and supportive community for those impacted by ovarian cancer. The event will feature a 5K Run, a Family Fun Walk, a Survivor Ceremony, and more. Monica Cryan, PHL17 Meteorologist, will return as this year’s host, and the National Anthem will be performed by recording artist, songwriter, and the Philadelphia Union’s National Anthem vocalist, Ashli Rice. After crossing the finish line, all participants are invited to a post-race gathering at Oar House.
