LSC After Dark: Paws and Prosecco
April 10, 6 pm – 10 pm
Get ready for a cuteness overload as Liberty Science Center’s #LSCAfterDark returns on April 10 with Paws and Prosecco, a spring celebration honoring the furry friends who make life sweeter—complete with a toast of bubbly. While personal pets can’t join the party (the dance floor isn’t quite paw-friendly), guests can still meet adorable animals, enjoy themed treats, and take home some goodies. The evening also features exciting experiences like the Titanic exhibition (additional $10), a space talk with Eric Gawiser, PhD, the Lift Off! planetarium show (additional $8), and energetic laser shows featuring the music of Pitbull and Sabrina Carpenter (each an additional $8). It’s a paw-ty not to be missed! LSC After Dark is an exclusive 18+ event held on select Thursday nights from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Each night boasts a unique theme, a menu curated to match, a lively dance floor, a live DJ, and a full bar for guests 21 and older. Attendees can also explore the museum’s many exhibits while enjoying a great party, delicious bites and drinks, and a touch of science.

Asbury Park Spring Disco + Night Market

This 21+ event celebrates food, music and community in Asbury Park. Get ready to dance the night away withincredible DJs, indulge in mouthwatering food, and shop the best local makers, crafts and art!

Rahway Taste of Spring
April 11, 5:30 pm – 9 pm
Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe, the Rahway City Council, and the City of Rahway’s Special Improvement District invite you to get your taste buds ready for their premier Restaurant Tasting Event, happening in Downtown Rahway—the Rahway Taste of Spring! Now in its 22ndt year, this event has been widely recognized as the largest tasting event of its kind in the NJ/NY Metro Area, typically with upwards of 40 eateries and bakeries, plus an additional 40 stations of national distributors of fine wine, boutique beers and aperitifs. With live music, good food, wines and beers from all over the world, Rahway’s Taste of Spring is the place to be this April. Tickets for the Friday, April 11th event are $40 per person and will sell out fast! Tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite or through the Eventbrite.

Beach Sweeps
April 12, 9 am – 12:30 pm
The Beach Sweeps are held at over 80+ locations throughout New Jersey. Volunteers gather from Raritan to Delaware Bays and along the ocean to clean beaches and waterways, as well as underwater sites. They join as groups (community, school, business, and organization), families, or individuals. Participants collect and record valuable data about debris, which is presented in annual reports and used to advance federal, state, and local programs to reduce litter.

Collingswood Green Festival

Celebrate spring and all things green by joining your friends and neighbors at Collingswood’s Annual Green Festival, located just off Haddon Ave on Irvin Ave near the PATCO High-Speed line. Enjoy Local sustainable food, organic gardening, water conservation, renewable energy, environmentally-friendly construction, and more. You will also get an opportunity to learn about smart green living from local activists and experts. Sparta Special Olympics Spring Vendor & Craft Fair
April 12, 10 am to 3 pm
With over 60 vendors of all types, including food trucks, attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere. The event will feature the return of their beloved bulldog friends, and visitors are encouraged to visit the kissing booth. Admission is free, although donations are welcome. Local crafters and small business owners will convene at Sparta High School to showcase their products and talents. The event aims to support the Sparta Special Olympics and Special Olympics NJ Area 3, fostering inclusivity and spreading awareness. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the inspiring Athletes of Determination and offer them well wishes for the 2024 season. The fair will take place outdoors in the front parking lot of Sparta High School, come rain or shine.

Skyline Egg Hunt

Skyline loves to engage with the community, offering a free Easter Egg Hunt filled with games, face painting, bunny pictures, and more. The event features multiple time slots, starting at 10:00 am and ending at 11:40 am. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 10:00 am to enjoy all the festivities and to report to the EGG HUNT AREA 5 minutes before their chosen time slot. Free tickets are required for each attendee.

Jenkinson’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Attendees are encouraged to leave their beach toys behind and bring only their hands for digging during the egg hunt. The event is open to children up to 10 years old, with different age groups designated to specific locations: 0-4 years will hunt on the beach in front of the Aquarium, 5-6 & 7-8 will search in front of Frank’s Fun Center, and 9-10-year-olds will participate in front of the Amusement Park. Additionally, there will be an Accessible/Special Needs Egg Hunt at Adventure Lookout Ropes Course, with no age limit. Each child is limited to finding 3 eggs.
