Millburn-Short Hills Restaurant Week

Millburn-Short Hills Restaurant Week is a delightful culinary event that showcases the diverse and vibrant dining scene of Millburn and Short Hills, New Jersey. During this week-long celebration, local restaurants offer special prix-fixe menus, allowing diners to explore a variety of flavors and cuisines at discounted prices. Garden State Film Festival
March 21 – March 24

The artistic philosophy of the Garden State Film Festival is rooted in the celebration of the independent film genre and the creation of a forum where local and other independent filmmakers can exhibit their work. In addition, our event provides novice and aspiring filmmakers, actors, and others interested in a career in the film business, the opportunity to meet and network with industry professionals in an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and mentoring. Past attendees include Glenn Close, Paul Sorvino, Budd Schulberg, Kurtwood Smith, James Gandolfini, Celeste Holm and Clarence Clemons.

Skyline Egg Hunt
March 23, 10 am – 12 pm

Skyline loves to engage with the community, offering a free Easter Egg Hunt filled with games, face painting, bunny pictures, and more. The event features multiple time slots, starting at 10:00 am and ending at 11:40 am. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 10:00 am to enjoy all the festivities and to report to the EGG HUNT AREA 5 minutes before their chosen time slot. Free tickets are required for each attendee, and a rain date is scheduled for Sunday, March 24th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Sea Girt Easter Egg Hunt
March 23, 11 am – 12 pm (Rain date is March 24)

Enjoy the hunt for amazing prizes, face painting, live animals on site so meet Monmouth County 4-H animal clubs, and take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

Easter Celebration at Historic Allaire
March 23, 11 am – 4 pm

Enjoy the day in the park while you visit with live chicks, bunnies and animals, a Spring flower stilt walker, bonnet decorating, egg games on the green, storytelling, a village scavenger hunt, historical Easter egg dying demos, and more! The Easter Bunny will be roaming the Village throughout the day! Easter selfie stations, live music, a few surprises and more! Two food trucks on site for the event. Sweet treats available at the Bakery and Bring your own Easter basket to collect eggs at special stops throughout the village. Plus enjoy learning about life in the early19th century industrial village; witness a variety of 19th century demonstrations such as blacksmithing, woodworking, hearth cooking, and more!

Bradley Beach Easter Egg Hunt

Annual Easter Egg Hunt for kids aged toddler to 12 years old! Prizes for all ages!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Battleview Orchards
March 23, 1 pm (rain date is Sunday, March 24)

For children ages toddler through 10 years old. Door prizes will be given immediately after the hunt in the orchard. Complimenting the egg hunt will be an Easter coloring contest also for toddlers through 10 years old. Coloring sheets are available at the country store. Register at the country store between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. the day of the hunt.

Ringwood St. Patrick’s Parade
March 23, 1 pm

The parade begins at 1 pm at The Ringwood Plaza, goes down Skyline Drive, and then up to 112 Erskine Road.

Keyport St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 23, 1 pm

The parade begins at St. Joseph’s Church on Maple Place, the parade will move over West Fourth Street and continue on Maple Place to Broad Street where it will then head down to West Front Street, ending at Fireman’s Park. The Keyport Fire Department hosts the yearly St. Patrick’s Day Parade which features live music, floats, entertainment, participating community organizations, and of course Fire Department Apparatus.

Annual Highlands St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 23, 2024 at 2 pm

The Highlands Business Partnership will paint the town green for the 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM. The colorful festivities will highlight Irish culture with nearly 100 marching units including bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, and beautifully decorated floats. The parade will begin at Waterwitch Avenue and extend along Bay Avenue. The 2024 Grand Marshal is Timothy G. Hill. Highlands Business Partnership will host the annual “Competition of Floats.” All Businesses and/or Organizations in Highlands will be competing in three (3) categories: Best of Show, Prettiest, and the Most Original. In addition, a trophy will be presented for the Best of Apparatus.

Uncork Spring! A Food & Wine Experience
March 23, 3 pm – 8 pm

Uncork the season, when 12+ NJ wineries bring more than 150 wines to be sampled & purchased. Enjoy chef pairings to enhance any dining experience, indulge in decadent food offerings, listen to music and shop artisan crafters. Sip, Savor & (S)elebrate Spring!

EarthShare New Jersey Rocks
March 23,  5 pm

Are you looking for a fun night out for a great cause at the Jersey Shore? Join us at Martell’s Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant to rock for a greener tomorrow! The evening will feature great music from local bands. There will also be a bar menu for food purchases, raffles, and more! All proceeds from this show support the work of environmental nonprofit organizations that preserve and protect our air, water, land, and wildlife. Open to any age, must be 21 and over to purchase/drink alcohol.

Egg Hunt Hayrides
Now– March 30

Families joining the Egg Hunt at the farm will enjoy a wagon ride around the fields and orchards, observing the arrival of spring. The ride will pause at the Egg Hunt location, where participants will hear a brief story about how all of Peter Rabbit’s eggs ended up in the field. After the story, Egg Hunters will explore the beautifully decorated egg hunt area, collecting eggs along the way—a perfect moment for photos! Afterward, they can trade in their eggs for a delightful goodie bag. To cap off the experience, participants can visit Peter Rabbit at the Farm Market.

Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach Easter Bunny and Spring Events

As spring approaches, Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach are gearing up for a series of events. These include the Bubble Zone with OMG Bubbles on March 16 and 24, a Petting Zoo on March 23 and 30, and Photos with the Easter Bunny on March 24 and 31. Additionally, the Spring Magic Show featuring Steve Woyce is scheduled for March 30, with a Princess Sing-A-Long event on March 31.

Easter Bunny Express

Escape the confines of home and embark on the annual Easter Bunny Express event, featuring a train ride and egg hunt! In 2024, enjoy a round-trip journey from Flemington to Ringoes, where kids can partake in an egg hunt at the picnic grove (weather permitting). Easter Bunny Express

Hop aboard the Woodstown Central for the Easter Bunny Express! Passengers can celebrate the holiday with friends and family on a springtime excursion. The beautifully decorated vintage train offers a relaxing ride through changing countryside. During the journey, the Easter Bunny will meet with every child aboard the train. The route takes you through the blossoming forests and fertile farmland of historic Salem County, ending at the Easter Bunny’s home at Fenwick Grove. There, passengers can disembark for an egg hunt, with 30 minutes to enjoy the scenic creekside views before returning home on the train. Don’t miss this enchanting springtime journey!

Annual Easter Bunny Express

Celebrate the return of Spring with a fun-themed train ride through northern New Jersey! Experience the Easter Bunny Train Ride and meet Mr. Bunny on board as it winds along the scenic Delaware River, departing from the Historic District of Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The journey travels to Carpentersville, culminating at the site of the historic Lime Kilns, where a charming glade awaits with Easter eggs hidden in front of the 150-year-old Lime kilns. This event features a walk around and collect eggs, treats, and prizes! You will need to choose an hourly time slot to arrive. Tickets must be purchased in advance – walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

Easter Egg Search

Coombs Barnyard Egg & Veggie Hunt

Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities at this event, including a hayride, a visit with the Barnyard Animals, an Egg & Veggie Hunt, and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Collected eggs will be empty but can be exchanged with the Easter Bunny for a delightful surprise. Additionally, barrel train rides and egg decorating stations will be available. The event typically takes about 1.5 hours to complete all activities.

The annual Spring Craft Show will be returning to Paramus High School located at 99 East Century Road on Sunday, March 25, from 10 to 5 with one hundred and twenty-five exhibitors with arts and crafts. This is an “Exciting Shopping Event” you do not want to miss. Project Graduation are the sponsor and P. J’s Promotions are the organizers. This group of talented exhibitors will be highlighting hand painted flowerpots and gourds, pottery, jewelry, bird houses and wooden planters, stained and fused glass, license plate art, hand dyed apparel, area train station prints, wood house signs, resin and paper art, ceramics, spring florals and bonsai. Also quilling, table runners, contemporary carpet bags, soaps, honey, candles, children’s items, hand turned bowls, charcuterie boards, hair accessories, heat packs, crochet animals, pressed flower items, jeweled utensils, hand knits, dried herbs, olive oils, honey and so much more. Jenkinson’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Attendees are encouraged to leave their beach toys behind and bring only their hands for digging during the egg hunt. The event is open to children up to 10 years old, with different age groups designated to specific locations: 0-4 years will hunt on the beach in front of the Aquarium, 5-6 & 7-8 will search in front of Frank’s Fun Center, and 9-10-year-olds will participate in front of the Amusement Park. Additionally, there will be an Accessible/Special Needs Egg Hunt at Adventure Lookout Ropes Course, with no age limit. Each child is limited to finding 3 eggs.
