Boots at the Beach
September 12 & 13
Southern New Jersey’s largest country festival features Country bands, DJs, line dancing, food, and Country themed vendors. All in a great outdoor setting by the seaside in beautiful North Wildwood. A good Olde Time for the entire family. The event includes an open-air concert and vendors for people to choose from. The event is held on Olde New Jersey Avenue in the Entertainment District that allows many options for guests in the areas of beverages, food, and many other entertainment options.

Smithville Art Walk
September 13, 10 am – 5 pm, Rain Date September 14

More than 40 local artists will showcase their work—from traditional to “low-brow” genres—while the Underground shop hosts live music and special guests. The event is free to attend and complemented by Historic Smithville’s many attractions, including 50+ shoppes, eateries, a carousel, paddle boats, a train ride, and on-site lodging at the Colonial Inn

Bark in the Park
September 13, 10 am – 5 pm

Dogs and their families are invited to the Annual Bark in the Park at the Atlantic County 4H Fairgrounds, 3210 NJ-50, Mays Landing, N.J. This dog-friendly fundraiser is held by Absecon Veterinary Hospital to benefit its non-profit charity, Laddie’s Legacy, which provides financial assistance for families who cannot afford lifesaving care for their pets. Bark in the Park will feature local vendors, food trucks, a beer garden with craft beer from Dr. Brewlittles Beer Company, and a ton of dog friendly games and activities.

Cape May Harvest Brew Fest

Annual festival held in September on the Delaware Riverfront Promenade in Historic Burlington City New Jersey. Featuring beer tastings from 20+ craft breweries, live music performed by local musicians and food trucks offering a good selection of culinary options. The day starts off with an optional 5k run/walk organized by Burlington Running Club. The 5K course is flat and fast through beautiful historic Burlington with gorgeous views of the Delaware River.

Highlands Fall Brew by the Bay

The tasting will be held on the picturesque waterfront, with tickets priced at $40 and including seven 4 oz. tastings plus a pint of craft beer. Each brewery will offer two beers to sample, and guests can enjoy the scenic views alongside fire pits and cuisine from Cuts & Catch, available for an additional fee.

Rocktoberfest

Rocktoberfest is a music festival fundraiser featuring live music, food and drinks, shopping and lots of fun activities for the entire family. The event showcases over 30 Music Bands/Solo Artists playing on multiple stages throughout the day and into the night. All proceeds benefit the Millburn Education Foundation, which provides grants to all Millburn public schools.

Hudson West Music Festival
September 13, 1 pm – 9 pm

The event will feature ten music performers and three music-based workshops and will occur rain or shine. An outdoor street fair will run from 1:00-9:00pm and will include local artisans, dancing, children/family activities, and music by The American Family Jamboree with more artists TBA. The main stage will be indoors at the Nimbus Art Center and will run from 1:00 – 9:00pm. The lineup includes the Grammy-nominated artist Amythyst Kiah, Dori Freeman, Quadrature from Brooklyn Raga Massive, Christina Courtin, Niall Connolly, and Alice Howe with Freebo. Food and beverage are available indoors and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Glassboro St. Anthony’s Italian Festival
September 13, 2 pm – 10 pm

The vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors of southern Italy will return to Downtown Glassboro for the Annual St. Anthony’s Italian Festival, a beloved cultural celebration hosted in partnership with St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society. The Italian Festival is a showcase of Glassboro’s rich Italian American heritage, filled with live music, family-friendly entertainment, authentic cuisine, and a deep sense of community. From homemade cannoli to sausage and peppers, festivalgoers can expect a culinary tour of Italy accompanied by wine, craft beer, and sweet treats. The festivities will kick off with a traditional procession beginning at 1:45 p.m. from St. Anthony’s Hall and ending in Glassboro Town Square, followed by a nonstop showcase of live bands and cultural entertainment.

Ocean City Parachute Pyrotechnic Show
September 13, 8 pm – 10 pm

Features highly trained and specially licensed Team Fastrax demonstrators exiting the aircraft 6,000 feet above Ocean City’s Beach & Boardwalk. Brilliant white or multi-colored projectile pyrotechnics are then ignited and flown in formation, creating a dazzling display for spectators on the ground. 8 p.m. jump with a landing on the 7th St Beach.

NJ Sheep and Fiber Festival

The New Jersey Sheep and Fiber Festival, held annually at the Hunterdon County Fairgrounds in Lambertville, NJ, celebrates fiber arts and sheep farming. Sea Isle City Fall Family Festival
September 13 & 14, Sat 9 am – 4 pm Sun 9 am – 2 pm

Sea Isle City’s Division of Tourism invites families to enjoy the annual Fall Family Festival, featuring a seaside vendor craft market and food court along the oceanfront Promenade from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kids can delight in free inflatable attractions, face painting, balloon art, and a photo booth in Excursion Park from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., while creative activities like sand art and the Art Bar add to the fun. Live music from the Brass Pocket Band will fill the air, making this festive day by the shore one to remember for all ages. Downbeach Seafood Festival

Hosted by Good Team Tricycle Productions, the Downbeach Seafood Festival transforms Ventnor’s waterfront into a haven for seafood lovers. Approximately two dozen local and regional restaurants, seafood purveyors, farmers, and culinary artisans will be onsite, each offering their own take on fresh, seafaring fare. Fanny Wood Day Street Fair

Fanny Wood Day, hosted by the Borough of Fanwood and the Fanny Wood Day Committee, offers a full day of shopping, food, live music, and family fun. Visitors can browse quality vendors, handmade crafts, and local merchants, enjoy delicious eats from food trucks, and take part in free kids’ activities and contests. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the south side train station parking lot on South Ave., with live music and plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the day.
