Cape May Music Festival

The Cape May Music Festival, celebrating its 36th year from May 25 to June 28, 2025, offers a diverse lineup of classical, chamber, and jazz performances in Cape May, NJ. Hosted by Cape May MAC, the festival features renowned ensembles like the Atlantic Brass Band, New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players, and New York Chamber Ensemble, along with unique events such as Bach’s Lunches, blending live music with fine dining. With performances held at scenic venues like Rotary Park and the Episcopal Church of the Advent, the festival showcases world-class musicians while enriching Cape May’s cultural scene. Haddon Square Summer Market

The Summer Maker’s Market is an open-air market featuring a curated selection of local and regional artisans and makers and their handmade creations. LSC After Dark: Titanic
May 29, 6 pm – 10 pm

For history buffs and Jack Dawson fans alike, this 18+ event will transport you back in time to April 1912 for #LSCAfterDark Titanic. On May 29th experience the luxury onboard the floating palace that was the “unsinkable” ship. You don’t need to win a poker game to get tickets to board this party. This is your chance to see one of Liberty Science Center’s most popular exhibitions of all time – with no kids! Stop by Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition during your visit.

A Walk for a Lifetime

Spectrum360’s Walk for a Lifetime returns to Verona Park on Sunday, June 1, bringing together families, friends, alumni, staff, and community sponsors in support of the students and adults served by Spectrum360. The event features a scenic, accessible walk, opening ceremony, and the ever-popular commemorative t-shirt for top fundraisers. New this year is a Dog Costume Contest, inviting pups to show off their best looks for fun prizes. Proceeds benefit Spectrum360’s programs for individuals with autism and related challenges.

Hasbrouck Heights Spring Fling Street Fair
June 1, 10 am to 5 pm

The Hasbrouck Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce presents the town’s biggest spring event, held annually along the Boulevard from Raymond St. to Washington Pl. From 10 AM to 5 PM, enjoy shopping from 100+ exhibitors, a special crafter’s section, great food trucks, and live entertainment. Two music stages will feature popular cover bands and local talent, including dance and karate schools. Kids can enjoy inflatables, a trackless train, games, sand art, slime-making, and free balloon creations from Gina the Balloon Lady. Come hungry for outdoor dining and gourmet food trucks serving lobster rolls, gyros, funnel cakes, cheesesteaks, empanadas, and more.

Crafts in the Park
June 1, 10 am – 5 pm

Visitors can browse the booths of 120 exhibitors from three states displaying a wide variety of arts and crafts. Sponsored by the Westwood Heritage Society and promoted by P.J.’s Promotions, the show features items such as folk art, jewelry, pottery, ceramic sculpture, fairy houses, stained and recycled glass, apparel, chainsaw carvings, decoupage, carpet bags, watercolors, paper tole, florals, tie-dye, mandala art, photography, quilts, charcuterie boards, pencil drawings, and birdhouses. Additional items include quilted denim jackets, wood planters, soaps, candles, wood puzzles, sports clocks, unique wood products, olive oils, dog treats, hooded towels, wood signs, resin, metal and shell art, crochet hanging planters, jeweled decorated flatware, one-of-a-kind wall art, and lighted bottles. Festival foods, homemade pretzels, pickles, desserts, and Italian ice will also be available.

SOMA Equality March and Youth Pride Kick off
June 1, 10:30 am – 2 pm
Starting at 10:30 AM at Ricalton Square and ending at Maplewood Town Hall, the march invites everyone to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community with vibrant decorations and spirited unity. Following the march, a Youth Pride Picnic will be held at 12:30 PM at The Gazebo on Springfield Ave, offering games, music, and picnic food in a festive atmosphere.

Denville Rotary Street Festival
June 1, 11 am – 6 pm

The 42nd Annual Denville Rotary Street Festival returns with a full day of family fun, featuring arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, retail booths, children’s rides, and an entertainment stage with live music, a popular DJ, and local performers. Guests can enjoy a family-friendly Beer Garden, try their luck at the crowd-favorite 50/50 raffle, and explore community and nonprofit booths. Drawing over 10,000 attendees, this beloved fundraiser supports Denville Rotary charities, scholarships, Santa Land, and global humanitarian efforts.

Garwood Rocks Street Fair

Jersey Pride Festival

New Jersey’s 33rd Annual Statewide LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration will be held in-person on Sunday, June 1st 2025.It is the largest, and oldest, LGBTQ Pride Celebration in the garden state, with attendance under normal circumstances surpassing 20,000. Parade at 12 pm.

Spring Shedfest Raritan Headwaters Music Festival

This family-friendly music festival located on a beautiful wildlife preserve, features live music, kid’s activities, food trucks, and local craft beer & cider. Proceeds from this event benefit Raritan Headwaters, a nonprofit conservation organization protecting land and water.
