Cumberland County Fair
July 8 – 12

This exciting event features a variety of fun activities and attractions for all ages. Enjoy thrilling rides, delicious fair food, and live entertainment throughout the week. Don’t miss the livestock shows, where you can see some of the finest animals in the region. There will also be games, contests, and special events each day, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Bring the whole family to experience the joy and excitement of the fair.

LSC After Dark: Swamp Soiree
July 10, 6 pm – 10 pm

ALL OGRES WELCOME! On July 10th, #LSCAfterDark is going green for a roaring good time with the return of Swamp Soiree. Come dance the night away at this rave straight out of a fairytale. This party willbe ogre-the-topy, so hop in your onion carriage and get ready for a night you won’t forget! Liberty Science Center presents LSC After Dark, exclusively for guests 18 and up on special Thursday nights from 6:00 – 10:00 pm. Each event features a fun theme with a menu to match, dance floor, live DJ, a full bar (for guests 21+) and planetarium and laser shows. And all of the museum’s exhibits are open, too!

Randolph Freedom Festival
July 10 – 12, 6 pm – 11 pm

This three-day festival will showcase live music, amusements, carnival games, great food, fireworks, and an expanded Beer Garden with beer, wine and hard seltzer. Enjoy your favorite festival food like funnel cake, fried Oreos, sausage and peppers, hot dogs, and ice cream. Bring your family and friends to the County College of Morris and enjoy an evening of family entertainment.The spectacular Fireworks Display is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th, with a raindate of Sunday, July 12th.

Annual Wildwood Crest Sand Sculpting Festival

New Jersey State Barbecue Championship™ and the Angelsea Blues Festival

The New Jersey State Barbecue Championship℠ is a three-day open-air festival featuring championship barbecue competitions; live cooking demonstrations, special displays, and food and beverage vendors to satisfy every taste and appetite. The Anglesea Blues Festival℠ features both national and regional blues musicians and is held in conjunction with the New Jersey State Barbecue Championship℠. Throughout the weekend, free live entertainment is featured on our outdoor main stage, as well as additional acts in neighboring establishments.

Afro Beat Fest
July 12

This event features a family-friendly day filled with a celebration of African arts, culture, music, and food. This event is one of the largest celebration of the culture and heritage of Africans and in the diaspora in the state of New Jersey. This event will have over 200 vendors showcasing food, music, clothing, artifacts as well as entertainment from the diaspora.

City of Water Day

This year’s City of Water Day theme is unity in the face of climate change. As extreme weather events become more frequent and severe, community connection is essential.
This event features regional day of celebration with 60+ free, family-friendly events on or near the water. You can engage in a plethora of waterfront activities including kayaking, rowing, sailing, boat tours, educational workshops, coastal cleanups, nature walks, film screenings, and more.

Butterfly Festival
July 12, 11 am to 4 pm

The Gloucester County Certified Gardeners Assn. annual Butterfly Festival promotes the understanding of the importance of butterflies and other pollinators in our lives. The festival takes place at Red Bank Battlefield Park in National Park, NJ, on July 12, 2025 from 11 am to 4 pm. Admission and parking are free. The Butterfly House will be open for tours. There are free games & crafts for kids. There are talks and demonstrations on Butterflies and Bees. The Insectropolis will present their Bugs On The Go Show. There is an art show for visual arts-paintings, drawings, fiber arts and photography. The art show is open to the public to enter their art, and there is no registration fee. Ribbons will be awarded. Children and adults are invited to wear their wings & antennae and join in the Bug Parade. There will be a One Man Circus show, live music, balloon artists and more! Food trucks and local craft vendors will be on-site as well. Join the Pollinator Pitstop Crew by pledging to plant your yard with plants that support butterflies and other pollinators. The Park includes a walkway by the Delaware River and a large playground. Don’t miss out on this free, educational day of family fun.

Freehold Township in partnership with the Veteran’s Community Alliance invite you to attend the Annual Freehold Township Day at Michael J. Tighe Park. Boonton Brings the Boo: Help Set a Record at the “Roper Romp & Séance”

The caftans are calling, and the candles are lit—get ready to channel your inner Mrs. Roper at one of the most delightfully outrageous events of the summer! On Friday, July 12th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Nine Lives Paranormal and Able2C invite you to “Supernatural Saturday: The Roper Romp & Séance” at 125 Cornelia Street, Boonton, NJ—a groovy night of dance, disco, and the dearly departed. From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, partygoers will don curly wigs, bold jewelry, and iconic caftans to embody everyone’s favorite nosy neighbor, Mrs. Roper, for a fabulous retro dance party featuring Automatic Entertainment spinning the best hits from the 70s and 80s. Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Art Festival
July 12 (11 am – 7 pm) & 13 (10 am – 5 pm)

The 31st Annual Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Art Festival features more than 200 artists showcasing the best of fine art and craft from the region and beyond. This year, artists are invited to compete in the Celebrate Haddy Contest, showcasing their unique take on Haddonfield’s famous dinosaur. Attendees can visit artist booths, restaurants, and shops along Kings Highway between Washington Avenue and Haddon Avenue, along Tanner Street to Euclid Avenue, and the Emerging Artists Area on Kings Court. A curated selection of artists and crafters will exhibit a wide range of work, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, wood, fiber, paper, drawings, paintings, photography, and wearable art.

Laurita Winery’s Greek Festival
July 12 & 13, 11-9 pm and 11-7 pm

An outdoor, fun-filled day of relaxing fun on the grounds of Laurita Winery — a great place to enjoy outstanding wines with friends and family. Pair delicious wines with the many delicious food offerings available from onsite food trucks. Wine and dine while listening to top live musical artists. Each visitor will be given a unique souvenir Laurita wine glass. Other treats include free parking, a face painter for kids (1:00-4:00) fire pits, fantastic fireworks (Saturday evening), and access to many unique and popular food trucks.

Maplewoodstock Music & Arts Festival
July 12 & 13, 12 pm – 9 pm

A two-day family festival celebrating community music and art. The event features local music from more than 20 performers and art put on by friends and neighbors of Maplewood. The event also includes art, collectibles, crafts, clothes, provided by local artists and merchants, and food from many local food vendors. For kids, there is a Kidzone with bouncy rides, face painting, arts and crafts, and ice cream.

Puerto Rican Parade and Festival
July 12 & 13, 2 pm – 9 pm

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable weekend of Puerto Rican pride and celebration on July 13th and 14th, from 2:00pm to 9:00pm! The 5th Annual Puerto Rican Parade & Two-Day Festival includes local organizations, floats, marching bands, horses, educators, honorees, marshals, dignitaries, and dance groups. In addition to the parade, we provide a free of charge festival with live music featuring well known Latino Headliners, local cover bands, rides, games, food trucks and youth activities attracting 10,000 plus attendees.
