The Newark Black Film Festival

The Newark Black Film Festival (NBFF)is one of the nation’s defining voices on behalf of independent film. The festival is a showcase for films that focus on the experiences and concerns of contemporary African Americans, as well as an outlet for films about the African-American experience from earlier eras. Each film selection encompasses a wide range of cinematic forms and formulas, from documentary to the avant-garde. The festival provides emerging filmmakers, writers, directors and producers with a high profile outlet for their work.

Randolph Freedom Festival

Afro Beat Fest

This event features a family-friendly day filled with a celebration of African arts, culture, music, and food. This event is one of the largest celebration of the culture and heritage of Africans and in the diaspora in the state of New Jersey. This event will have over 200 vendors showcasing food, music, clothing, artifacts as well as entertainment from the diaspora.

New Jersey Bronco Invasion

The New Jersey Bronco Invasion is an annual all Bronco event held in Wildwood, New Jersey. This unique, family friendly event offers three days of Bronco activities, daily parking on the beach, access to the industry’s top vendors, and an opportunity to play on our exclusive beach obstacle course. All Broncos must be pre-registered to park on the beach, there is no day of registration, however spectator admission is FREE. It is definitely a one of a kind event that you don’t want to miss! New Jersey State Barbecue Championship™ and the Angelsea Blues Festival

The New Jersey State Barbecue Championship is a three-day open-air festival featuring championship barbecue competitions; live cooking demonstrations, special displays, and food and beverage vendors to satisfy every taste and appetite. The Anglesea Blues Festival features both national and regional blues musicians and is held in conjunction with the New Jersey State Barbecue Championship. The Annual Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Art Festival features more than 200 artists showcasing the best of fine art and craft from the region and beyond. This year, artists are invited to compete in the Celebrate Haddy Contest, showcasing their unique take on Haddonfield’s famous dinosaur. Attendees can visit artist booths, restaurants, and shops along Kings Highway between Washington Avenue and Haddon Avenue, along Tanner Street to Euclid Avenue, and the Emerging Artists Area on Kings Court. A curated selection of artists and crafters will exhibit a wide range of work, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, wood, fiber, paper, drawings, paintings, photography, and wearable art.
