Tranquillity Farms Sunflower Festival
August 16 & 17, 10 am – 4 pm

Venture to Tranquillity Farm for a weekend filled with family-friendly fun! From the cow train to the bounce pillow, live music, and the chance to cut your own sunflowers, there’s something for everyone! Enjoy homemade ice cream, seasonal craft beer, and delicious bites from food trucks – it’s a weekend you won’t want to miss!

Hillsborough Rotary Fair
August 12 – 16, fireworks on August 15

The annual Rotary Fair and Business Expo will once again transform the Hillsborough Promenade (315 Route 206) into a classic carnival from Aug. 12 to 16. The event includes a colorful midway, more than 20 amusement rides, games of chance, fireworks, food vendors and an expansive exposition of local businesses. There is a $35 all-night ride access available every night.

Cost: General admisison is free to attend.

La Festa Itialiana
August 13 – 17

La Festa Italiana celebrates Italian heritage, spirituality and is an evening of music, dance and authentic Italian foods. It’s fun filled with games, an hourly 50/50, and terminates with the Super 50/50 raffle drawing. The festival will honor the Veneration of Our Lady of the Assumption and Saint Rocco. Each night Live Bands perform on the Mainstage. Perfect for grabbing a Sausage & Pepper Sandwich and a Beer and watching this great performance.

Anglesea Night Market & Food Truck Night
August 14, 5 pm – 10 pm

Treat yourself to some of the best food from the region 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on select Thursdays this summer. The Anglesea Night Market and Food Truck Fest will feature award-winning food trucks, gourmet food vendors, and everything North Wildwood has to offer.

Passaic County Fair
August 14 – 17

This year’s fair will feature four days of unique activities for all to enjoy from games and rides to art activities and environmental excursions. In addition, there will be pony rides, bounce houses for the kids, and more. The four-day celebration will also feature two fireworks displays on Friday and Saturday. The County Fair stage will feature an array of local musicians. Live music will be complimented with a beer garden and some of the best food from around Passaic County.

Dragon Flight Night Market
August 15, 7 pm – 11 pm

Take flight and come out to Shoppes at Dragon Village! Vendors, food trucks, belly dancers, live music, and a roving fire dancer. This is not your mama’s craft fair.

Argos Farm Sunflower Festival – Opening Weekend
August 15 – 17, 3 pm – 8 pm on Fri and Sun, 3 pm – 9 pm on Sat

The annual Argos Farm Sunflower Festival returns for 2025 offering visitors the chance to stroll through vibrant sunflower fields at the perfect golden hour for breathtaking photos or to pick blooms for an additional fee. Guests can enjoy live music, farm-fresh treats like pasture-raised beef burgers and fresh donuts, and relax in the beer garden, while families will find plenty of activities including a jumbo jumper air pillow, double hay slide, obstacle course, bee zip line, cow train ride, pedal carts, and more.

Terhune Orchard’s 50th Anniversary Community Celebration
August 16, 10 am – 4 pm
Terhune Orchards will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a free community event honoring the customers, staff, and neighbors who have supported the farm over the years. The day will feature live music, games, special anniversary activities, and interactive entertainment, including swag giveaways, a customer photography show, kids’ activities, a giant anniversary cake, and barnyard fun with farm animals. Guests can enjoy wagon rides, visit the winery, and explore the Farm Store, Wine Orchard, Barn Door Café, and Pam’s Food Pavilion, all offering farm favorites, throwback specials, and exclusive 50th-anniversary merchandise.

Blue Claw Craft Show & Crab Race
August 16, 10 am – 3 pm

The craft show offers free admission and showcases a wide variety of handmade goods from local crafters across New Jersey and nearby states. The crab race, which is one of Ocean County’s most popular, kicks off the fun with registration beginning at 10 AM and races starting promptly at 11 AM. Participants can bring their own crab or rent one on-site, and prizes will be awarded—this event is presented by PBA Local 175.

Merchantville Porch & Garden Tour
August 16, 10 am – 4 pm

Six of Merchantville’s loveliest gardens and porches will be open to visitors. You will appreciate the uniqueness and diversity that is the heart of Merchantville: large and small gardens, fruits and vegetables, native plants or decorative! The gracious homeowners put such work and effort into their visions for a perfect yard. 20th Annual Sourland Mountain Fest
August 16, 3 pm – 8:30 pm

The Sourland Mountain Fest has great live music, delicious food from local businesses, family-friendly activities, plus you can learn about the history and wildlife of the Sourland Mountain. All proceeds benefit the Sourland Conservancy.

Family Fun Night at AWA
August 16, 4 pm – 7 pm

AWA invites families to a free evening of outdoor fun filled with exciting activities to kick off the summer. Guests can meet Marshall from Paw Patrol for photos and hugs, while aspiring animal lovers can become veterinarians for the day in a hands-on pretend pet clinic. The event also features face painting, lawn games, tasty treats from food vendors, and free caricatures sponsored by The Barclay Group and J.S. Braddock Agency. Presented in partnership with AAA South Jersey, the night promises laughter, learning, and memorable moments—all in support of animals in need.

Edison’s Food Wine & Beer Festival
August 16, 4 pm – 10 pm

The Edison Chamber of Commerce is excited to host its annual Food, Wine & Beer Festival. This rain-or-shine event offers a vibrant evening with delicious food from various food trucks, craft beers, wines, and refreshing sangria. Attendees can enjoy live music performances, face painting, rides for kids, and unique items from local vendors. Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival
August 16 & 17

This event features 150+ juried craft and fine artists. Expect to see handcrafted pottery, blown and stained glass, fine and fashion jewelry, leather, wooden utensils and furniture, unique clothing, garden embellishments, handsome home decor, paintings, photographs, pet specialties, gourmet delights, candles, soaps, scents, the Emerging Artist Alley with live musicians playing throughout the Festival, Family Fun Art Activities, and much more.

Seafarering Skullduggery Weekend
August 16 & 17, 11 am – 4 pm

Enjoy a day filled with pirates, music, and family fun while exploring the open Village buildings with historically clothed interpreters showcasing Early America’s trades, crafts, and lifestyles. Kids can join the exciting “Pillage the Village” activity, searching for hidden gold coins and winning free prizes. The Pirates of Fortunes Folly will provide swashbuckling shenanigans, Clan of the Raven offers insights into the Viking Age and Norse Culture, and humorous performances by Kaptain Kristian and Red will amuse everyone. Jolly Shore Leave will entertain and educate all with their musical talents.

Surf and Turf Seafood Festival
August 16 & 17, 11 am – 5 pm

The Shore’s biggest seafood festival returns this year for two days of the freshest seafood, featuring lobster rolls, crab cakes, shrimp, and more. Over a dozen of the Shore’s best seafood establishments will present their mouth-watering menus at this can’t-miss weekend festival. General admission is just $6, with free parking available. On Sunday, families can enjoy free activities from 12-4pm, including a bounce house, pony rides, face painters, and clowns. Live music will entertain attendees both days from 12-4pm. Participating food trucks include Angry Archie’s, Chefs and Companies, Cousins Maine Lobster, Del Toro Tapas, Enzo’s, Hills on Wheels, Kiersten’s Creations, Lola’s, Sherri’s Crab Cakes, Star of the Sea Seafood, Vagabond Kitchen & Tap House, and Vampire Penguin.
