NJ Spring Wine Festivals and Events to Look Forward to!

This season is a perfect time to visit and support your local vineyards and wineries! There are plenty of fun events going on from this weekend throughout Spring. Be sure to put these New Jersey Spring Wine Festivals and Events on your Calendar!

Barefoot Grape Stomp at Four Sisters Winery – March 24th
It’s Stomping Time! Yes, it’s Barefoot Grape Stomping. A bit of nostalgia, a tasting of wine, something to do with friends for a special time! Formal wine tasting, Italian spaghetti with meatballs, garden salad, bread, dessert, coffee, tea and sweet tea. An educational wine cellar tour describes the processes of wine making and then off with the shoes and socks for the ever-popular Barefoot Grape Stomping. Complimentary wine glass included

The Wild Chocolate and Wine Festival – March 24th & 25th
The Wild Chocolate & Wine Festival is set for Downtown Wildwood’s new Byrne Plaza, a two-day event that will take place Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25. The event will feature some New Jersey wines, great chocolate vendors, crafters, food, and family fun. The creators of the Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival, which is in its 5th year, and favorite local event, the Anglesea Night Market, are bringing this festival to life.

2nd Annual Wine and Blossom Festival – April 7th
Monroeville Vineyard & Winery and Summit City Farms Winery invite you to their Second Annual Wine and Blossom Festival. Take a wagon ride thru Summit City Farms Peach and Nectarine Orchards in full Bloom! This Event will be educational and fun! The Last Peach Blossom Festival was in Glassboro NJ in 1934. Learn about both NJ Peach Production and Wine Production. Both Owners will be available for questions about their Farms and their Wines. Wine Tasting from both Wineries is also included! Each guest may sample 7 wines from each Winery and will receive a souvenir wine glass. Monroeville Vineyards will also have a self guided walking tour thru their 4 acre Vineyard which will be in the early stages of bud break. Live Music by Acoustic Soul, playing a variety of Rock, Pop, Country and Oldies. An Evening of Wine and Chocolate – April 7th
At An Evening of Wine and Chocolate, guests will enjoy sampling various wines paired with chocolates and learning from wine expert Dr. Gary Pavlis, Rutgers University Professor, Member of the American Wine Society, and contributor to edible jersey with his wine column Liquid Assets. Guests will also enjoy door prizes and a tricky tray. The event benefits Prevent Child Abuse-New Jersey.

Around the World Wine Tasting Experience – April 13th
Taste your way around the globe when our popular Around The World Wine Tasting experience returns on April 13 and enjoy samples from over 100 wines from some of the most celebrated wine regions in the world. The event will be hosted by Terri Baldwin, Wine Director and Sommelier, and held in the Fenwick Ballroom where light hors d’oeurvres will be served. Many of these extraordinary wines are not available in stores and all wines will be available for retail purchase. Stock your wine cellar for all of your entertaining and gift-giving needs. Waretown Spring Wine Festival – April 28th & 29th
On Saturday, April 28, through Sunday, April 29, festival goers can look forward to sampling wines from a nice variety of award-winning Garden State wineries. In addition to wine tastings, there will also be live entertainment, as well as crafters, retail vendors, food vendors, and a children’s play area. The festival will be held each day from 12 p.m. noon to 5 p.m. ET., rain or shine.

Bellview Winery’s Cinco De Mayo Party – May 5th
Great food, dancing, wine and carafes of sangria… It’s the Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Bellview Winery! For the first time this year they’ll be serving up our famous sangria in two different flavors. Cuisine on the Green Wine Festival – June 2nd & 3rd
Wine festivals are sprouting up all over the Garden State, due to their incredible popularity these past few years, especially some of the most popular throughout the state, the Jersey Shore and Waretown Wine Festivals. The organizers of those two have now announced the launch of a new one for the state and South Jersey, the Cuisine on the Green Wine Festival, which will take place on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3. The two-day wine festival will feature samplings of dozens of varieties of wine from a selection of award-winning New Jersey wineries. Attendees can enjoy live musical entertainment from local musicians, as well as peruse booths by crafters and retail vendors. There will also be an assortment of food available for purchase.
