Cheers to Mom this Weekend During the Mother’s Day Wine Trail

If you’re looking to celebrate Mom this Weekend by visiting a local NJ winery or vineyard you’re in luck! Every year the Garden State Wine Grower’s Association hosts a Mother’s Day Wine Trail where all local New Jersey vineyards and wineries participate. It’s a great way to visit one or multiple NJ winemakers in one weekend (May 11th & 12th) and give you a taste on what to expect.

Additionally there are other vineyards that do no participate in conjunction with the GSWGA, and I am posting their wine and chocolate events as well.

South Jersey:

Balic Winery in Mays Landing will be celebrating moms with food trucks and live music. And it’s FREE tastings for all on May 11th & 12th from 12PM – 4PM.

DiMatteo Vineyards in Hammonton does not have anything specifically listed for Mother’s Day, but they will have yoga in the vineyards for a $25 free on May 11th.

Plagido’s Winery in Hammonton will have their Wine & Chocolate Tasting for $12 per person and includes 10 wines and 5 gourmet chocolates.

At Sharrott Winery, will be hosting Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12th with celebration options both indoors and outdoors. With live music, food trucks, and wine tastings you’re sure to find the perfect way to ‘toast’ the moms in your life.

White Horse Winery in Hammonton will be pouring MOMosas all weekend and offering complimentary French Macaroons for Moms!(While supplies last)

Tomasello Winery‘s main location in Hammonton invites you to enjoy all of your favorite Tomasello wines paired with free chocolate on May 11 & 12 from 12PM – 5PM.

Valenzano Winery in Shamong wants you to take mom out to the vineyards for their annual Mother’s Day Picnic on May 12. Enjoy great entertainment, wine tasting food trucks and crafters. This event is sold out every year please get your tickets early. This year they will have a large selection of food trucks and crafters along with all of our newly released wines available for sampling. $15 General Admission includes complimentary wine tasting and souvenir wine glass. $10 Children Under 14 Admission

Amalthea Cellars in Atco will be sampling a ton of amazing wines from both their current releases as well as their future’s and presale programs.

Bring your mom to Hawk Haven Vineyards in Cape May for an afternoon of adventure! Their wine tasting bar is open 11am-6pm and of course mom’s tasting is complimentary.  Order a bottle to pair with our gourmet cheese plate on the crush pad where there is plenty of seating. Or bring your own picnic lunch to share as you enjoy the view of the vineyard. It’s your weekend, mom, so sit back and relax at beautiful Hawk Haven Winery.

Willow Creek Winery in Cape May can host you Mother’s Day weekend, and additionally they will be hosting a Sunday Brunch for an additional fee (reservations required).

All the ladies will receive a small gift at Cedarvale Vineyard/Winery in Swedesbor.o You are welcome to bring your own food.

Di Bella Winery in Woolwich Twp will have a wine bar set up with wine cocktails and spritzers made to order. Bring a lawn chair and hang with them to celebrate mom’s.

On May 11th & 12th Heritage Vineyards will be hosting their guests with an experience with all that New Jersey has to offer when it comes to a spring time wine pairing; cheese, chocolate and a delicious French macaron. The event will take place on our covered wine patio & fully covered event tent. This is a ticketed event.

Wagonhouse Winery in Swedesboro invites you to bring mom for a day of shopping, wine and fun on May 11! This pop up shop will feature the Salt Lickers Supply Co mobile boutique trailer and a few other local vendors. Unplugged lights will be playing 1-4. Ravello food truck will be on and site and of course there will be wine.

Travel to Pilesgrove and visit Auburn Road Vineyards for the Mother’s Day Wine Trail, and if you’re looking for brunch plans they will be hosting (with reservations) on May 11 & 12.

Chesnut Run Farm in Pilegrove  will be celebrating Mother’s Day on the farm! Their rustic wine shop will be open for tastings Mother’s Day Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from noon to five. Tastings will be free! Why not take Mom on the Two Bridges Wine Trail to celebrate her special day?

Monroeville Vineyard and Winery will have Philly Goodfellas food truck on site and live Music 1pm to 6pm. Wine Tasting $10 per person or enjoy a glass or bottle of wine.

Salem Oak Winery in Pedricktown will be hosting their Mother’s Day Wine Trail on May 11 & 12. Mother’s Day Lunch & Wreath Decorating for an additional fee on May 12!

Central Jersey/Jersey Shore:

Alba Vineyard in Milford will be hosting Mother’s Day on May 12. Bring Mom to beautiful Alba Vineyard for an incredible springtime day under the Arbor! Wine flight priced at $15 per person – includes cover for music. On-site Chef Anthony Fiore will have delicious food available for purchase.Freshly made wood-fired pizza, caprese salad, paninis, lobster rolls, and charcuterie.

Old York Cellars in Ringoes invites you to treat mom to a lovely day on the vineyard. For this wine trail weekend they will be providing free musical entertainment, complimentary chocolate treat for mom, and the option to reserve a special dessert pairing featuring an assortment of wines paired with hand-crafted confections!

Hopewell Valley Vineyards in Pennington will be offering a special brunch on May 12th. Menu features our ricotta pancakes, breakfast pizzas and much more. Wine, mimosas and bellinis available for purchase. Ticketed event!

Working Dog Winery in Hightstown is a wonderful place to celebrate mothers day. $10 Admission from 11am – 1pm includes a Continental Breakfast, Live music by Spoondrift, Cousin’s Lobster Food Truck, and Jammin’ Crepes Food Truck. From 1pm – 5pm is a $5 admission (food not included).

In Princeton, Terhune Orchards Vineyard & Winery will have free tastings for moms! What better way to treat her than with an afternoon of wine tasting. There will also be special samplings from their bakery and on Sunday enjoy live music when Kingston Ridge will perform.

4 JG’s Orchards and Vineyards in Colts Neck  is celebrating Ruby Chocolate, Rose and Mother’s! Along with other chocolate pairings, 4JGs will feature a full size Ruby Chocolate filled with white lemon ganache and paired with Monmouth Blush wine. Ruby chocolate is the biggest innovation in chocolate in 80 years. Made from the Ruby cocoa bean, it’s a completely new chocolate experience. A portion of our entrance fee will be donated to Breast Cancer research.

Cream Ridge Winery will be releasing their Mango wine for the Summer Season. Special Cup Cake for first 200 Mom’s! Bring a picnic – Music on porch all weekend! Weather permitting!

Fox Hollow Vineyards in Holmdel will be offering Wine Tastings, Spring Chocolate & Wine Pairings, Wine by the Glass, & Food offered Thursday through Sunday.

Laurita Winery in New Egypt will be hosting their Mother’s Day event on May 12. Treat Mom to a wine tasting and platter from the Marketplace, a shot of our famous Chocolate Therapy, or one of their signature wine flights! Free event for all!

North Jersey:

Brook Hollow Winery will have live music, delicious wines, and a few vendors that will be sure to appeal to all. Marge owner of Chocolate Lover’s Emporium, Kim owner of Silvery Moon Jewelry and Crafts,and Bre consultant for Origami Owl (Saturday Only).

Head out to Phillipsburg to Villa Milagro Vineyards to celebrate “Dia de las Madres” with a delicacy native to Mexico – chocolate! A chocolate gift for your “Mamacita” and tastes of their romantic chocolate infused wine, Besame (means “Kiss me” in Spanish). $10 per person includes wine tasting, gift glass and chocolate gift for Mom. $5 off when you buy a bottle of wine.
