BBQ & Craft Beer Festival

The annual BBQ & Craft Beer Festival returns to Monmouth Park this Labor Day weekend for three days of delicious BBQ and craft beer. Attendees can savor over 40 craft beers brewed in New Jersey and enjoy a variety of BBQ favorites, including ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Food trucks will start serving around 11 am, and beer garden sampling tickets are available for $15, which includes 10 two-ounce samples. Sampling runs from 11:30 am to 5 pm, with ticket sales and check-in from 11:30 am to 4 pm; day-of ticket purchases are cash only. Live music will entertain from 12 to 4 pm each day, and on Saturday and Sunday, families can enjoy free activities such as clowns, face painting, pony rides, and a bounce house from 12 to 4 pm in the picnic area. Tickets for general admission and sampling can be purchased in advance at seatgeek.com/monmouth to save 15%.

Riverdale’s Annual Labor Day Street Fair

Riverdale’s Annual Labor Day Street Fair, hosted by the Borough of Riverdale, takes place along the Newark Pompton Turnpike from Newbury Place to Cotluss Road on Labor Day Monday. The street transforms into a lively block party with quality exhibitors, an arts and crafts section, live entertainment, over 15 food trucks, and a variety of local vendors. The Hoboken Italian Festival is a four day festival of music food and fun from Thursday through Sunday. No day is greater however than Saturday, aka “Feast” day. The day the 800lb statue of the Madonna Dei Martiri or Madonna of the Martyrs is carried through the streets of Hoboken.

St. Demetrios Greek Festival

The Annual Greek Festival at St. Demetrios in Union, the largest and longest-running Greek festival in Union County, offers a weekend celebration of Greek culture with mouthwatering food, vibrant music, and exciting entertainment. The Meadowlands Tattoo Arts Festival

The Meadowlands Tattoo Arts Festival returns to the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ, bringing together world-class tattoo artists, piercers, and performers for a three-day celebration of body art and entertainment. Wood Street Fair

Wood Street Fair is a much anticipated annual event which takes place in the midst of the Historic City of Burlington, New Jersey. Brought to you by the Colonial Burlington Foundation, this popular event draws over 25,000 visitors and is comprised of more then 175 of the areas finest artisans and crafters. Tour for free one of New Jersey’s oldest houses, the Revell House (ca. 1685), fabled site of Burlington’s hospitality to Benjamin Franklin. There is just one more chance to experience the best food trucks on the Jersey Shore! Pet Palooza Food & Music Festival
September 6, 12 pm – 6 pm
The annual event, which brings together pet lovers from across New Jersey, will take place at Lincoln Park in Manville from 12 PM to 6 PM and promises a full day of food, music, shopping, and four-legged fun. This year introduces an exciting new addition: the Pup Strut 2K Dog Walk, sponsored by Groomington Eats. Boonton Brewfest

Terhune Orchard’s Fall Family Fun Festival Weekends

Rock 2 Adopt 2025 is a vibrant, family-friendly charity music festival held September 27–28 at Veterans Park in Bayville, NJ, presented to support local shelters and animal sanctuaries, with all funds and donations benefiting the cause. Over two days, the festival features more than 20 live bands across multiple stages—including the Main Stage and an acoustic “Paw-Coustic” stage—alongside a lively mix of activities such as food trucks, vendors, kids’ games, painting with Tori, Halloween-themed fun with Chubby Penguin Parties, temporary tattoos, yoga, Zumba, karaoke, live wrestling, magic and comedy acts, poetry, and special meet-and-greets with adoptable dogs (12–2 PM each day) and character appearances.
