New Jersey Pride Events are a vibrant celebration of love, diversity, and equality, bringing communities together to honor and support the LGBTQ+ community. From bustling parades to lively festivals, New Jersey offers a wide range of exciting events that showcase the spirit and resilience of its LGBTQ+ residents and allies.

These pride events create a safe and inclusive space for people to express themselves, celebrate their identities, and promote acceptance and understanding. Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community or a passionate ally, New Jersey Pride Events are a colorful and uplifting experience that foster unity and pride in the Garden State.

May 31, 9 am – 1 pm
Starting at 9 a.m. at Sixth Street and the Boardwalk, join special guest Michael J. Hartman for an opening ceremony and Pride Walk. Continue with the celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ocean City Civic Center at 840 E. Sixth St., where family fun, community organization resource tables and live music await.

Ramsey Pride Ceremony
May 31, 6 pm – 8 pm

Ramsey’s 7th Annual Pride Ceremony will feature Live music from hometown favorite band Dad to the Bone and Ramsey High School award winning acapella group the Ram Jams as well as several solo performances. Live Music Speakers and Food Trucks. It is recommended to bring a lawn chair or blanket ALL are welcome!

SOMA Equality March and Youth Pride Kick off
June 1, 10:30 am – 2 pm
Starting at 10:30 AM at Ricalton Square and ending at Maplewood Town Hall, the march invites everyone to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community with vibrant decorations and spirited unity. Following the march, a Youth Pride Picnic will be held at 12:30 PM at The Gazebo on Springfield Ave, offering games, music, and picnic food in a festive atmosphere.

Jersey Pride Festival
June 1, 12 pm – 7 pm

New Jersey’s 33rd Annual Statewide LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration will be held in-person on Sunday, June 1st 2025.It is the largest, and oldest, LGBTQ Pride Celebration in the garden state, with attendance under normal circumstances surpassing 20,000. Parade at 12 pm.

Glen Rock Pride in the Park
June 1, 12 pm – 4 pm
The Glen Rock Pride Committee will the Annual Pride in the Park at Borough Hall. The Flag Raising will take place at 12 pm, followed by Pride in the Park from 1 pm to 4 pm. Featuring music, art, crafts, vendors, food, and family fun.

Pride on the Plaza

“Pride on the Plaza” returns Friday, June 6 from 7–10 PM on Hinds Plaza in Princeton, kicking off Pride Month with a community disco dance party. Now in its fifth year, this all-ages, family-friendly celebration features live disco and soul music from the Einstein Alley Musicians Collaborative, a special performance by drag artist Divinity Banks, and iconic group dances like The Hustle. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best ‘70s-inspired outfits as the plaza transforms into a lively outdoor dance floor, celebrating love, inclusion, and LGBTQ pride.

Rutherford, NJ’s 4th Annual PrideFest
June 7, 11 am – 4 pm

One of the world’s most influential LGBTQ+ rights leaders is returning to her hometown to raise the pride flag at Rutherford’s 4th annual PrideFest, Saturday June 7th. Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum was raised in Rutherford in the 1960s and 70s. She went on to spend 32 years serving as senior rabbi at New York City’s Congregation Beit Simchat Torah before President Joe Biden appointed her to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom in 2021.

Join the community on a mission to prove that love is louder than hate! The day begins with a Flag Raising and inspiring speeches at Footbridge Park at 12:00 PM. Then, at 12:30 PM, participants are invited to follow the group on a walk to the lawn at Gourmet Gallery for a continued celebration. Guests can look forward to wonderful vendors, great company, and are encouraged to stop inside Gourmet Gallery for a delicious bite to eat.

North Jersey Pride Festival

The North Jersey Pride Festival is one of the largest family-friendly LGBTQ Pride celebrations in the tristate area, and this year’s event promises to be the biggest yet. Admission is free, thanks to our generous corporate sponsors. Enjoy a live stage with family-friendly performances, explore a vendor court with over 100 merchants and nonprofits, and sample delicious cuisine from a large food court. The Rainbow Kids Zone offers fun inflatables, obstacle courses, and an interactive Kids Stage with hourly shows, ensuring endless entertainment for children.

Pride Under the Stars- Dance Party in South Orange
June 13, 8 pm – 11 pm

Get ready—South Orange’s legendary dance party is back! North Jersey Pride, South Orange Downtown, and South Orange Village invite you to Pride Under the Stars on Friday, June 13, from 8–11 PM in Spiotta Park (20-32 Village Plaza). This 21+ celebration will be hosted by the fabulous Honey Marie and music by DJ Dirty Preston keeping the energy high all night long. Enjoy dancing under the stars and grab a drink at the cash bar—proceeds benefit North Jersey Pride. Admission is free, but a suggested donation of $20 will directly support North Jersey Pride’s mission. North Jersey Pride, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ youth and families through inclusive programming and events across New Jersey.

At 11:00, the Boonton Elks Lodge hosts the annual pride flag raising in front of the Lodge. At 12:00, activities move to Grace Lord Park, featuring speakers, performers, a town proclamation, and another flag raising. From 12:00 to 4:00, attendees can enjoy DJ and dancing, crafts, lawn games, a community rainbow art installation, non-profit resources, the Raise Your Pride interactive flag display, and a pride pole.

Frenchtown Pride Week
June 21 – 28

Frenchtown is proud to host its sixth Annual Frenchtown PRIDE, celebrating love and acceptance for all, including the queer community. The event begins on June 21 with a Pride Flag Giveaway at Frenchtown United Methodist Church from 1 PM to 3 PM, followed by the installation of pride flags downtown on June 22. Other highlights include Queer Kickball and Pride Chalking. The festivities culminate on June 28 with the World’s Shortest Pride Parade and a post-parade picnic at Sunbeam Lenape Park. All residents and visitors supporting equality are encouraged to join.
