Covert Collection Gallery & New Jersey Isn’t Boring Announce New Jersey Photo Contest

The Covert Collection Gallery, located in Boonton, NJ,  and New Jersey Isn’t Boring are teaming up to bring you an exciting photo contest that celebrates the beauty, charm, and quirky character of New Jersey! Whether you’re snapping pics of breathtaking sunsets on the shore, iconic landmarks, or those little-known hidden gems, this contest is your chance to show off the true spirit of the Garden State through your lens.

Calling all photographers—pros, hobbyists, and everyone in between! This contest is your canvas to capture New Jersey in all its glory, from bustling cities to serene landscapes, showcasing the vibrant communities that make our state so special. Your creativity can shine while highlighting the artistic talent found throughout the state—because no one captures New Jersey quite like you do!

Eligibility

• The contest is open to photographers of all ages.
• All images must be taken within New Jersey.
• Open to both amateur and professional photographers.
• Employees and immediate family members of The Covert Collection Gallery, New Jersey Isn’t Boring, and contest sponsors are not eligible to enter.
• No entry fee is required.

Entry Period

• The contest entry is currently open and ends on September 18th, 2024
• All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on the closing date.

Submission Guidelines

• Participants may submit one image each.
• Entrants must be following both @newjerseyisntboring and @thecovertcollectiongallery on Instagram.
• Submissions should tag @newjerseyisntboring and @thecovertcollectiongallery, using the hashtag #HereisMyNJ
• Entries must briefly describe where the image was taken and what it represents about New Jersey.
• By submitting an image, participants grant The Covert Collection Gallery and New Jersey Isn’t Boring the right to use the images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and exhibition displays.

Judging and Prizes A panel of jurors selected by The Covert Collection Gallery and New Jersey Isn’t Boring will judge all entries based on creativity, originality, technical quality, and relevance to the theme. Public voting will not determine the winners. There will be a 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place winner with two honorable mentions.  All winners and honorable mentions will be invited to an opening reception at The Covert Collection Gallery, where their work will be showcased. Family and friends are welcome to join in celebrating this creative achievement.
