The Garden State Wing & Dessert Fest
November 8, 12 pm – 5 pm

Guests can dive into the Wing Battle Royale, where vendors will serve up an array of bone-in and boneless wings in every style imaginable—sweet, spicy, smoky, and everything in between. Those with a sweet tooth can head to the Sweet Escape section, featuring cakes, cookies, and cool desserts to balance the heat. Attendees get the chance to vote for the champions and help crown the Best Wings and Best Dessert in the Garden State. For the brave, the Chicken Wing Eating Contest, sponsored by BBQ Pit NJ, will challenge contestants to see who can handle the most heat for a shot at glory. A new twist for this event brings the action both indoors and outdoors, with vendors cooking up the heat outside and serving it fresh inside—making the event a true rain-or-shine flavor showdown. Sample-sized portions will be available, giving guests the chance to taste a wide variety of dishes throughout the day.

Pie Tasting Weekend at Terhune Orchards
November 15 & 16, 12 pm – 4 pm

Pie Tasting Weekend returns on November 15 and 16. Join Terhune to sample a variety of delicious pies. There will be rows of pies in the wine barn; the smell will be divine! Come taste any of the pies and pick a favorite(s) to order for the holidays. Portion of proceeds of this event will benefit HomeFront and Project Freedom. Winery will be open in the orchard for tastings and live music 12-5pm.

November 22, 12 pm – 4 pm

A local market will be collecting non-perishable food items for a nearby food pantry while showcasing a lineup of specialty vendors featuring fall-flavored foods, Thanksgiving-themed treats, and hostess gifts. Visitors can enjoy offerings from Cream Ridge Winery and Twin Lights Brewing, live music, and seasonal photo ops. The event will include craft coffee, sourdough bread, baked goods, jams, desserts, candles, soaps, floral arrangements, clothing, accessories, handcrafted jewelry, spiritual readings, organic skincare, and more.

Swedish Christmas Fair
November 23, 10 am – 3 pm
The Swedish Christmas fair has something for everyone; there is a great selection of food items, crafts, and gifts. Swedish handicrafts like handmade Christmas decorations, linen, and wooden items plus a variety of cheeses, herring, and other Swedish delicacies as well as home baked goods (bread, cookies, and cakes) are available for you to buy. Glögg, a typical Swedish spiced holiday drink, is also being offered. There are raffles with wonderful prizes, and activities for younger children. A highlight of the fair is the beautiful Lucia pageant and her choir singing and lightening up the holiday season at 1:30pm, a beautiful and truly unique Swedish tradition! The Swedish Christmas Fair is hosted by the NJ Chapter of SWEA, Swedish Women’s Educational Association. SWEA is a global nonprofit organization promoting Swedish language, culture, history, and tradition.
