The New Jersey Home and Garden Show Returns February 27th – March 1st

A healthy home guru and an expert landscape designer/award-winning garden writer highlight the 36th annual New Jersey Home and Garden Show at the New Jersey Convention Center in Edison, February 27 – March 1.

Visitors will also be able to explore five glorious gardens designed by the area’s top landscaping experts including Blue Mountain Landscaping and Hardscaping, Brothers Landscaping, Longford Landscape and Excavation, Urban Landscapes, and Mike’s Country Market.

Caroline Blazovsky, America’s Healthy Home Expert® and CEO of My Healthy Home® will tell visitors about sources of potential toxins that contribute to poor indoor air quality and unhealthy living conditions.

The Renegade Gardener™, Don Engebretson returns this year. The popular gardening writer and TV host will identify design principles that are present in America’s finest private gardens, and he will explain the design mayhem caused by common gardening myths. Visitors are encouraged to bring photos of their yards and landscaping plans so that he can critique them and offer solutions to landscape design challenges.

The show will highlight ideas, products and services from more than 100 remodelers, contractors, interior designers, landscapers and kitchen & bath designers – mostly from locally-owned businesses such as Rivertown Floors, Kepo Siding & Windows and Kitchen Solvers of Old Bridge. Handcrafted work of artisans will be for sale in the show’s Marketplace. New this year for youngsters is a “Make It – Take It” area where experts will show kids how to plant herbs, which they can then take home to grow.

New Jersey Home and Garden Show gives 500 free tickets to Veterans through Vet Tix, which provides tickets to all branches of currently serving Military and Veterans, including immediate families of troops KIA.
