Is there anything more magical than New Jersey during the holiday time? The entire state is lit up with lights for miles. Here is a database for all the lights you can see this season from walk-throughs, drive-thrus, houses to visit, and more!

Lights and Carols for a Claus
December 10, 5:30PM – 7:30PM Rain date December 11
Join the Iantosca Family for a fun & free evening for the whole family! They’ll be joined by the REAL Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as The RockNRoll Chorus for a festive holiday performance. There will be a photo-opp with Santa & Mrs Claus – and all children will receive a small gift and candy cane from the North Pole! Dunkin will be providing donuts and hot cocoa for the kids and coffee for the grown-up kids.

The Christmas Light Show 2022
December 10
The Christmas Light Show returns for the 2022 Christmas season for its 16th year of live and in-person shows. Shows will be held in Belmar Plaza on the Connelly-Campion-Wright Building at 704 Belmar Plaza, Belmar, NJ 07719 on one night for two shows:
Saturday, December 10th, 2022: Shows at 5 PM and 6:30 PM. Each show runs for approximately 20 minutes.

Cost: Free. Suggested donations of $25 for a family of 4 and $10 for an individual adult.

The Holiday Lights Spectacular returns this December! The winter wonderland includes treats, crafts, pictures with Santa*, games, Diving Santa*and Holiday Entertainment!

Christmas Light Spectacular at Allaire Community Farm
Now – December 23
A Tractor drawn Hay Ride thru a beautiful Christmas light display, providing a holiday outing for all families to enjoy during this challenging year. See spectacular lights and dazzling displays while listening to Christmas music. Fun for people of all ages and affordable for everyone. Grab your keys, pack up the kids, and get out of the house for an event with Christmas spirit in Wall Township.

Light Show on the Lake
Now – December 23
Gather ’round the fire pits at Johnson’s Corner Farm’s Discovery Barnyard to roast marshmallows and watch the lake light up in this breathtaking display. Be sure to hop on the Christmas “Light Show” Hayride to see more of the farm lit up for the holidays.

The Village At Anne Ellen 2022

Your journey begins with a hayride through fields bringing you to the start of your own hallmark movie. You will follow winding pathways through Christmas lights and interactive displays transporting you into a Christmas wonderland like no other. Inside the village you will find many unique displays, from mesmerizing lights to incredible photo-ops. You will also find an array of interactive exhibits such as our post office, where you can write and send your letters to Santa, and a massive interactive wall of lights. Don’t forget to also check out the life-size gingerbread house and igloo!

Christmas Fantasy with Lights

South Jersey’s Christmas Tradition! As seen on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight!” Watch as Santa Claus appears in his chimney, waves his magic wand and lights Storybook Land with over 1 MILLION lights!

Turtle Back Zoo Holiday Lights
Now – December 31 (closed Dec 24 & 25), 5PM – 9PM
About 50 animal and holiday-themed figures will light up the winter night in Turtle Back Zoo and the surrounding Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex. Over 100,000 lights will illuminate figures of bears, tigers and elephants, along with holiday lights designed to look like wooden soldiers, stars and winter scenes. Several animal exhibits will be open, including the Sea Lion Sound, Essex Farm, Tam-ring Gibbons Reserve, Tropical Currents Aquarium and the Reptile Building. Myrtle the Turtle, the mascot of Turtle Back Zoo, and several of his winter friends will be on hand to greet visitors at the Zoo. “Selfies” with Santa Claus and a mailbox where children can send letters to Santa Clause at the North Pole will be available each night until December 22nd.

Holiday Lights Trolley Ride

Take a trip down to the Historic District of Cape May to see some of the most beautifully decorated houses and inns in New Jersey! Take a trolley ride through the Historic District to see the Victorian-style houses and inns decorated for the holidays. Tours begin at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street. Purchase tickets at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth, at the Carriage Horse or at Hill House Office. Check their website for dates and times. Holiday in the Park Six Flags Great Adventure

Get ready to experience your favorite amusement park in a festive way that puts you in the holiday spirit. There will be shows, rides, food, and of course, beautiful holiday displays along with the arrival of Santa.

Smithville Village’s Holiday Light Show
Now – January 6, 2023 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
Watch in wonderment as over 100 Christmas trees magically float on lake Meone and light up to the music around you. It is an orchestrated show of lights and music played out across the lake.

Winter Walk in Taylor Park
Now – January 15
Follow the lights through a path of handmade snowflakes, courtesy of local Boy Scout Troop 15. The trees along the path are wrapped in lights, the enormous polar bear is the perfect setting for family photos, and the bridge is adorned with hundreds of lights that reflect into the stream that runs along the Main Street section of the park. Continue your stroll along the Main Street entrance, over the bridge near the Bauer Center and then head for hot chocolate or dinner at your choice of numerous restaurants.

Let It Glow a Holiday Lantern Spectacular

The Friends of the Bergen County Zoo are pleased to announce that a brand new winter event is happening! Let it Glow – A Holiday Lantern Spectacular. This Extraordinary event is located inside the Bergen County Zoo. Let it Glow is a symphony of vivid glowing colors to tease your eyes and dazzle the mind. Come and enjoy an enchanting stroll throughout the zoo. These larger-than-life lanterns are amazing in picture but stunning in person! With over 30 scenes, these hand-made artistic wonders are more breath-taking than the last!

Ayana and Siree Morris, owners of Moonlight Cinema, are partnering with Dasher’s Lightshow, one of the fastest-growing holiday light companies in the country, to bring an immersive “Drive-Thru Christmas Light Show” to Newark. Families can connect their vehicle’s radio to 97.5 FM to listen to their favorite holiday tunes and watch the hundreds of thousands of lights dance and blink in sync with the music. The light show is open seven days a week, starting at 5 p.m. with the latest entry at 10:30 p.m.

Fleetwood Lights – A Christmas Lights House Display
Fleetwood Lights, a Christmas lights house display, features almost 19,000 light pixels that are synchronized to music, creating a holiday display that you will not forget. This residence has grown each and every year since it’s inception back in 2015. This year Fleetwood Lights has produced it’s biggest display to date with 40 displays. Come watch the show for free in the comfort of you own car while you listen to FM 92.1 and watch the lights synchronized to music.
