Taste of Hope – Featured Event!!
Join the American Cancer Society for the annual Taste of Hope gala on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 for a one-of-a-kind evening, featuring great food, dancing, a spectacular auction, and much more. With your support, the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.

Big Brew Sussex Beer Festival returns to The Sussex County Fairgrounds on Friday October 26 with a fantastic Fall Festival, Oktoberfest style!
Celebrate Halloween with Boos & Brews! Costumes welcomed & encouraged. 100+ craft beers, great food and Music! A Beertastic Evening and a great way to celebrate Oktoberfest! AddamsFest
It’s creepy and it’s kooky. It’s taking over Westfield for 3 days from October 26 to 28, 2018. AddamsFest, a town-wide celebration honoring Westfield NJ native Charles Addams and his penchant for the macabre, will prove to be the destination event of the season with family-friendly events, lectures, exhibits, and film screenings.
Some festival highlights include:

Lectures and Art Exhibits featuring Charles Addams’ work spanning his career at The New Yorker and as the creator of The Addams Family

Haunted Hops and Ghoulish Grub Fest – Cancelled Due to Weather!
If you and your favorite ghouls and goblins are looking for a screamin’ good time, then don’t you dare miss the Haunted Hops and Ghoulish Grub Fest! Enjoy a glass of brew in the beer garden from New Jersey craft breweries like Bonesaw Brewing Co., Brotherton Brewing Co., Cross Keys Brewing Co., Double Nickel Brewing Co., Eight & Sand Beer Co., Hidden Sands Brewing Co., Human Village Brewing Co., and Third State Brewing Co. And with 15 food trucks serving up “cauldrons” of great grub, you’ll never go hungry. Plus there will be live entertainment, artisanal crafters and kids’ activities for even the littlest ghost. Don’t forget to come dressed for the occasion and enter the costume contest!

Rahway Halloween Parade and Monster Mash – Rescheduled to October 31st
Rahway’s annual celebration which will include our Costume Contest, Street Parade and Monster Mash Party at Train Station Plaza. The town will stay creepy well into the night with events and parties happening in our local restaurants and venues. This year, the Halloween Costume Contest will begin at 3PM at the Hamilton Stage, followed by the start of the parade at 3:45 which will march towards Train Station Plaza. From 4:00pm to 6:00pm registered children will be able to participate in the Monster Mash Party on train station plaza which will include carnival style games, prizes, music, and giveaways.

Cost: Free to attend Parade, $5.00 Pre-registration fee required for Monster Mash Party entry. Each registered child will also receive a goody bag.
Historic Smithville’s Monster Bash & Zombie Walk
Outdoor collectibles show celebrating Halloween. Vendors, artists, writers, celebrity groups, crafts. Guests include Mark and Mark from Weird NJ Magazine, Jim Krut from “Dawn of the Dead,” Sharon Smyth Lentz from “Dark Shadows,” Carter Cosplay, Star Wars 501st Legion and the Philadelphia Avengers. Meet Tony DiGerolamo, writer of the Jersey Devil Comic Book. Wear a costume or join in the Zombie Walk.The Zombie walk is sponsored by Underground, one of the 60+ stores at Historic Smithville. Come spend a night in the Village and take part in the Zombie Walk! Show up all ready in full costume and make up or we will have makeup artists on site for an additional charge. Be prepared to walk the Village with hundreds of other zombie friends!

Delaware River Towns Zombie Crawl
Lambertville – New Hope Zombie Crawl will begin in Lambertville, NJ and end in New Hope, PA as hosted by the Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau. Guests in all kinds of Zombie outfits and make-up will gather between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. (with some getting made up at Zanya Spa in the same location everyone is gathering). They will “crawl” through Lambertville, cross the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge and stroll along Main Street in New Hope to reach the courtyard of Bucks County Playhouse, where “Rocky Horror Show” is appearing from Oct. 12 through Oct. 28. Cast members of the “Rocky Horror Show” will be the judges of the Zombie Contest. Zombies can win tickets to the “Rocky Horror Show” and a $25 gift card in the following categories: Best Male, Best Female, Best Teenage, Best Child (12 and under), Best Family and Best Couple. The evening will be enhanced with all kinds of ghoulish music playing in the background during the contest including Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”! All Zombies will get special discounts to the 11:30 p.m. “Rocky Horror Show”.
