Food! Wine! Beer! It’s Spring and festivals are popping up all over New Jersey. Whether it’s the return of food truck festivals, restaurant weeks, beer runs, or wine festivals…there’s plenty to do this April in 2022!

New Jersey Foodie, Beer and Wine Events for April 2022:

Barefoot Grape Stomp-Four Sisters Winery
April 2 & 23, 1PM

Are you ready for a stomping good time? Well, now is your chance to be a part of an exclusive social event at Four Sisters Winery. The Barefoot Grape Stomping is a one-of-a-kind experience; surely to intoxicate all your senses. It’s a unique opportunity you don’t want to miss! The event begins with a formal wine tasting followed by a mouth-watering dinner served with salad, bread and dessert. Dessert is introduced and paired with wine. Four Sisters Winery award-winning wines can be purchased by the glass or bottle to enjoy with your meal. This delightful event includes an embossed souvenir glass, so you won’t go home empty-handed.
After dinner, it’s off for a stomping good time and an educational wine cellar tour.

Mardi Gras “Phat Sunday”
April 3, 12PM – 10PM

This all-day, all-out, all-ages extravaganza will feature an Opening Parade & performance by a popular Philly Mummer String Band, Music & live entertainment, retail & craft vendors, food & snack vendors, festival foods, kids fun features, Costumes contests for kids and adults, guest appearances, and More! And don’t forget to wear your fancy costumes and dancing shows.

Two Bridges Wine, Beer & Spirits Trail Festival at Dalton Farms
April 9, 11AM – 6PM

The Two Bridges Wine, Beer, & Spirits Trail is a collective of wineries, breweries, and distilleries located in South Jersey. For incremental ticket purchase, guests attending Dalton Farms Tulips Festival 2022 Event can experience any of the 10 wineries, breweries, or distilleries from the Trail participating in the Festival. This event combines agritourism and beverage tourism in an effort to highlight the region and support small, local businesses in South Jersey.

There will be 3 wineries, 4 breweries, and 3 distilleries involved in the event. Drink tickets can be exchanged for a glass of wine, a cocktail, or beer of choice from any of the participating vendors. The participating vendors are as follows:

The Beer Run 5K 2022
April 23, 12PM – 4PM

The Beer Run is BACK! The 5K where your running buddies are your drinking buddies. Run (or walk) through a historic 1800’s village and cross the finish line into a craft beer festival featuring some of the best beer and eats NJ has to offer. Your ticket includes race registration, beers from participating breweries, a tasting glass, and festival access with live music, lawn games, food trucks, and more. Don’t feel like running? Grab a Beer Fest Only ticket and cheer your crew on at the finish line instead. Designated Driver tickets also available for those who don’t wish to indulge.

Shad Festival

Now in its 39th year, The Shad Festival has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized award-winning event. Food! Beer! Music! Fun! New Jersey foodies, eat your hearts out! It’s a fun-filled family day! Over 25 Gourmet Food Trucks, partnered with some great music, make for an enchanting and fulfilling Spring day. Bring your appetite, lawn chairs, pups, pop-ups, and blankets. Dine on excellent food, while enjoying the beer and sangria garden. Face painting, kids’ activities, and more! They are requesting that all attendees bring a non-perishable canned or boxed item to help support the Food Pantry. Please help those less fortunate.

Food Trucks Spring Fling

Lots of food trucks, Dj Dave, a petting zoo, clowns, cornhole, 18 holes mini golf, horseshoes, inflatable slide, VIP fire pits, Vendors, ATMs, Liquor, Beer & wine! Lots of seating with 100s of socially distanced picnic tables. Proceeds from this event will benefit The Valerie Fund’s Camp Happy Times, a one-week overnight camp experience for any child aged 5-21 who has or has had cancer.
