BBQ & Craft Beer Festival
September 5 – 7
The annual BBQ & Craft Beer Festival, presented by Surfside and The Asbury Park Press, returns to Monmouth Park for three more mouth-watering days this Labor Day weekend. Over 40 craft beers, nearly 20 of the area’s top pitmasters, and three days of live music. Sampling goes from 11:30 am- 5 pm. Beer garden sampling tickets are $20 for 10 two-ounce samples, a commemorative glass, and a $2 betting voucher. Purchase tickets in advance at seatgeek.com/monmouth for $24 total (for the beer sampling, racetrack general admission, glass and $2 betting voucher).Day-of ticket sales are cash only for $20 for the beer sampling ticket, glass, and $2 betting voucher. General admission is not included and must be purchased separately at the admission gate. Enjoy live music 12-4 pm all three days. Saturday music by After The Reign. FREE family fun day activities – featuring clowns, face painters, pony rides and a bounce house – on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 pm in the picnic area.

Highlands Fall Brew by the Bay
September 12, 12 pm – 5 pm
The tasting will be held on the picturesque waterfront, with tickets priced at $40 and including seven 4 oz. tastings plus a pint of craft beer. Additional tastings will be available at the event for $3 each. Each brewery will offer two beers to sample, and guests can enjoy the scenic views alongside fire pits and cuisine from Cuts & Catch, available for an additional fee.

BRC Blue Coat Run & Beer Festival
September 19, 10 am – 5 pm
The main athletic event features a flat, fast, USATF-certified 3.1-mile course that starts at the Riverfront Promenade and winds through historic Burlington. It is open to both competitive runners and casual walkers, but participation is capped at 350 runners. Following the race, the event transitions into a craft beer festival held in partnership with Swedesboro Brewing Company and its affiliated taprooms. The festival features draft pours, cocktail mixers, food trucks, live music, and a DJ along the riverfront.

The Chester Lions Club will host its Annual Oktoberfest Weekend and Car Show this fall, bringing together the vibrant sights, sounds, and tastes of Bavaria right in the heart of Morris County. This beloved community tradition takes place at Chubb Park in Chester, New Jersey, and invites guests of all ages to enjoy two full days of festive fun. The event features authentic German food including bratwurst, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, and pretzels, as well as a selection of beer and seasonal beverages. This is a FREE event, so grab your friends and family and be prepared to have the time of your life. There will be activities, contests, craft vendors, music, drinks, food, and more! This Oktoberfest is a family-friendly event where vendors will take over Main St., Valentine St., and Grand Ave. for this street-fair-style event.
