New Jersey Events for September 9th – 11th, 2016
Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival – Sept 9 – 11
Sea Isle City is welcoming award winning food trucks to their third fall food truck event at the Kix McNutley’s Complex this September. The 3rd Annual Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival will be taking place from Sept. 9 to 11 at Kix McNutley’s, located at 63rd and Landis Avenue and will be declaring winners in multiple categories, including best food truck at the annual event.
2016’s fall food truck line up features a mix of returning trucks and exciting new additions. The returning lineup includes Shore Shake, Kix Lincoln Grill, Zinna’s Bistro, Five Sisters, Eat-A-Pita, Waffle De Lys, Marie’s Seafood, Chick-N-Cone, Luigi’s Ice Cream, Nick’s Roast Beef, Philly Fry, and Sum Pig. New trucks for this year include House of Cupcakes, My Four Sons, and Empanada Sonata.
PS. New Jersey Isn’t Boring will be one of the judges at this event! Come say hi!!!

The Hoboken Italian Festival – Sept 8th – 11th
The Hoboken Italian Festival, the premier Italian-American festival in the New Jersey tri-state area, is nearly 85 years old, and is derived from a festival in Italy that is over 600 years old. The festival occurs yearly, the weekend after Labor Day, for 4 days at beautiful Sinatra Park, on the historic waterfront of Hoboken, NJ. The highlight of the feast, beyond the fabulous variety of foods and entertainment, is the day long procession through the streets of Hoboken, including a pain staking reenactment of the “Blessing of the Fleet” in the Hudson River, all culminating with a huge fireworks extravaganza over the park. Sinatra Park, named after Hoboken’s favorite son, Frank Sinatra, is where On The Waterfront was filmed in 1954.

Asbury Park Oysterfest – Sept 9th – 11th
The Annual Asbury Park Oysterfest is back and better than ever! What’s the perfect recipe for a cool weekend in hottest town at the Jersey Shore? Start with fresh seafood and other culinary delights, add a dash of music, and a pinch of surprises and you have Asbury Park’s Oysterfest, a three-day culinary event you don’t want to miss. This year’s event will be held just outside the iconic Carousel building where the downtown meets the Asbury Park waterfront.

Capital City Food Truck Battle at Rho Waterfront – Sept 10
Joseph Kuzemka, founder of the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market and longtime director of Art All Night Trenton, definitely knows his food trucks. He scours the tri-state area to bring the finest mobile cuisine to all of his events, and they have been an integral part of the TrentonPRFM’s amazing success. For the third year in a row, he and his team have decided to bring together an all-star cast of libation wagons to fire up their griddles and do battle for ultimate food truck supremacy! And how does it work, you say? Over 15 award-winning food trucks, serving cuisine from around the globe, will all be in one place at the Rho Waterfront on Saturday, September 10, 2016! All you need to do is stuff your face with as many different gourmet selections as you can get in your gullet, then vote for your favorite truck. The winner will receive a custom-designed trophy by a local artist and the title of Capital City’s best food truck!

MGK Brew Blast – Sept 10
It will be a great day of craft beer sampling (over 50 beers) & live classic rock (MGK House Band) on the tented deck of America’s most decorated battleship.

Brews by the Bay – Sept 10
Hosted by the Delaware Brewers Guild and the Garden State Craft Brewers Guild, Brews By The Bay is a two-state day-long celebration of great craft beer and offers samples from 40+ breweries hailing from New Jersey and Delaware. Start with Jersey craft beer from 11:30am to 3:30pm on the lawn at the Cape May Ferry Terminal, jump on the ferry, and head to Delaware’s festival kicking off at 4pm on the lawn at the Lewes Ferry Terminal.
