Feast of the Madonna Dei Martiri – The Hoboken Italian Festival
September 7 – 10

The Hoboken Italian Festival, the premier Italian-American festival in New Jersey is over 80 years old, and is derived from a festival in Italy that is over 600 years old. The Festival is a four day festival of music food and fun from Thursday through Sunday. No day is greater however than Saturday, their “Feast” day, when the 800lb statue of Madonna Dei Martiri or Madonna of the Martyrs is carried through the streets of Hoboken. This includes a reenactment of the Blessing of the Fleet in the Hudson River, culminating with a fireworks show over Sinatra Park. The Madonna is sailed around the Hudson before it returns to the church.

Greek Festival
September 7 – 10

Join the fun at the 44th annual Greek Festival at St. Demetrios of Union. Be Greek for a weekend and you’ll love it! Authentic Greek food prepared on premises including soulvaki, gyro, pastries, and more. Plus live music, vendors, rides, and games.

New Year’s in North Wildwood
September 8 & 9
Both the top Mummers Brigades AND top Mummers String Bands from the New Year’s Day Parade in Philadelphia will entertain crowds in the pub district of North Wildwood. The excitement kicks off Friday night at 6 p.m. with the Fancy Brigade Pub Crawl through local drinking establishments in the North Wildwood Entertainment District. A colorful Mummers parade will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday along Olde New Jersey Avenue where you can get up-close views of the beautiful costumes and intricate dance steps.

Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market Presents Rock of Ages
September 8 – 10

Featuring more than 400 small businesses, artists, crafters & makers as well as 100+ tattoo shops from across the country, the TPRFM is stoked to present ROCK OF AGES TATTOO EXPO & PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET on Sept 8-10, 2023 at the New Jersey Expo Center. Celebrity guests include the cast of Clerks, Marky Ramone and much more.

Boonton Brewfest
September 9, 1 pm – 5 pm

Rocktoberfest

Get Ready To Rock! Rocktoberfest is a music festival fundraiser featuring live music, food and drinks, shopping and lots of fun activities for the entire family. The event showcases over 30 Music Bands/Solo Artists playing on 4 stages throughout the day and into the night.

WMGK Brew Blast

Fiddlefest Music and Food Festival
September 9, 3 pm – 10 pm

This annual food and music festival combines live music with food trucks and a wide array of adult and family activities. Beer is included for adults and 7 diverse food trucks will be in attendance. Two stages will feature 6 bands, headlined by popular Eagles tribute Best of the Eagles and Pink Talking Fish, performing the unique stylings of three legendary groups, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish. Openers include piano man Dan Orlando, country pop duo Ralph Notaro and Gladys Bryant, the sounds of Americana folk rock by Drown Your Boots and the Somerville, New Jersey School of Rock House Band.ood Mac Tribute), Somerville School of Rock House Band (Rock covers), and Emily Vadala (Indie Singer/Songwriter). The Downbeach Seafood Festival
September 9 & 10
The team at Good Team Tricycle Productions will transform Ventnor’s Ski Beach into a seafood lover’s dream featuring approximately 25-30 different local and regional seafood restaurants and purveyors who will be serving up their favorite seafaring dishes! With the majority of the restaurants attending being brick-and-mortar Atlantic County restaurants, The Downbeach Seafood festival will give attendees the opportunity to experience this seaside community as a culinary destination. It is also a great opportunity for foodies and food seekers to meet some of Atlantic County’s most unique chefs and restaurateurs all while eating their tasty creations.
