October 7th – 9th – South Jersey Pumpkin Show Festival (Woodstown, Salem County)

October 7th – 10th – LBI FLY International Kite Festival (Long Beach Island, Ocean County)
The LBI FLY International Kite Festival is scheduled to take place on Columbus Day weekend, October 7 through 10, 2016. LBI Fly was organized to bring the brilliant colorful artist design kites, fun flying giant inflatable kites and the amazing show of sport kiting to our beautiful island. The first International Kite Festival in October 2015, had 32 invited kite fliers, however many more kite fliers from across the United States and Canada came to celebrate the joy of kite flying. Many of these fliers are invited guests in prestigious festivals around the world.
The 2016 edition of LBI FLY will feature giant inflatable kites as large as a full size whale, magical fairy tale horses, giant octopuses, flying scuba divers, crabs and sea urchins, trilobites, flying witches, and a giant yellow duck.

October 8th – Just Jersey Fest (Rockaway, Morris County)
Sample the finest gourmet food while immersed in the sounds of incredible bands and enjoying a multitude of fantastic family activities! What makes this festival more than just fun in the sun though is that it is also a benefit for Eleventh Hour Rescue.

October 8th – NJ’s Biggest Oktoberfest (Warren, Somerset County)
Yodel on over to FOREST LODGE, 11 Reinman Rd. in Warren, NJ.
The celebration begins Saturday, OCTOBER 8 (rain date; Sunday, October 9). Gates Open 11am-5pm.

October 8th – Wildwood Seafood and Music Festival (Wildwood, Cape May County)
The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce will host a FREE street fair from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. along Atlantic Avenue between Wildwood and Schellenger Avenues in Wildwood. The festival will feature 2 stages of live music featuring Animal House, The Who Knows Band, 99 Reasons, and Club Phred, plus crafters, food vendors, games, a pie eating contest and much more! A “Kids Korner” with activities including pumpkin painting, crab hat making and inflatable bounce houses will take place from noon – 5 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, October 9th from noon – 5 p.m.

October 8th – Hackettstown Oktoberfrest (Hackettstown, Warren County)
Join Hackettstown as they celebrate Oktoberfest! Czig Meister Brewing Co., Homebrew University and Man Skirt Brewing will host activities, contests, music, drinks and food at their Platz through regular operating hours. October 8th & 9th – GSWGA’s Cape May Wine Experience (Cape May, Cape May County)
The Garden State Wine Growers Association returns to the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum at the historic Hanger #1 in the Cape May Airport for the Cape May Wine Experience on Columbus Day weekend Oct. 8-9 from noon-5 p.m. each day. Drop your landing gear with us during Cape May’s Victorian Weekend, with classic Cape May airport airplanes on display surrounding the festival grounds! We will welcome gourmet food trucks, chef demonstrations and regional musical acts to this incredible setting.
