Top Ten New Jersey Events for the Weekend:

Cranbury Christmas Lights – Dec 28 – 30
This house, which is located on Main St in Cranbury, also has their own radio station that syncs up with lights. Speaking of lights, they have over 120,000 lights which can be some from space. This house is free to visit, but they are also accepting money for charity so please consider donating if you can. They play their music outside, and have fire pits to people can stay for a while. Hugs for Brady Holiday Light Show – Now – Dec 30th
Come experience the ONLY large animated light show in New Jersey. The event benefits Hugs For Brady, a charity supporting children suffering from cancer.

Adventure Aquarium Christmas Celebration – Now – Dec 30
Adventure Aquarium’s Christmas Celebration will feature larger-than-life decorations, twinkling lights, glowing trees, and gently falling snow – not to mention 8,500 super cool animals and two million gallons of fun. Festivities include exciting live shows, daily appearances by Scuba Santa in our Ocean Realm exhibit, character appearances, and more!

Battle of Trenton Reenactments – Dec 31
Experience the annual winter reenactment during Trenton’s Patriots Week Celebration! Be immersed in history as you are surrounded by reenactors portraying the soldiers who fought during the Battles of Trenton, which ultimately shaped the fate of the war and our nation. Follow the troops through the streets and watch as they relive the events of these fateful battles! Come back to interact with the soldiers, take tours of the museum that will be given throughout the day, and visit The Quartermaster’s Store.

The first battle begins at 11 am, the second at 3pm. There is special reduced pricing for this event. The battles are free to the public, and entrance onto the museum grounds is $8 per person (children 5 and under are free).

Parking for this event is free, plentiful, and close, available in the lot next to the museum as well as the lot across from The War Memorial.

First Night Haddonfield – Dec 31
First Night Haddonfield is a family-oriented, alcohol-free New Year’s Eve festival featuring stimulating entertainment including magic, music, comedy, dance and theater for audiences of all ages from children and families to teens and seniors.The stages are set in more than 15 different venues along Historic Haddonfield’s Kings Highway in the most stunning and historic buildings and churches in downtown Haddonfield.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Boardwalk – Dec 31
Join Atlantic City at 9PM as they ignite the night with a spectacular fireworks display accompanied by a live broadcast of the Times Square Countdown.

Turtle Back Zoo Holiday Lights  –Now – Dec 31
About 50 animal and holiday-themed figures will light up the winter night in Turtle Back Zoo and the surrounding Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex. Over 100,000 lights will illuminate figures of bears, tigers and elephants, along with holiday lights designed to look like wooden soldiers, stars and winter scenes. Several animal exhibits will be open, including the Sea Lion Sound, Essex Farm, Tam-ring Gibbons Reserve, Tropical Currents Aquarium and the Reptile Building. Myrtle the Turtle, the mascot of Turtle Back Zoo, and several of his winter friends will be on hand to greet visitors at the Zoo. “Selfies” with Santa Claus and a mailbox where children can send letters to Santa Clause at the North Pole will be available each night until December 23rd

Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show – Now – Jan 1
Experience a spectacular Christmas Light Show at Skylands Stadium! Drive through a 1-mile course of breathtaking displays set to joyous holiday music. They will have more than 2 MILLION LIGHTS for your viewing pleasure.

Historic Smithville Holiday Light Show – Now – Jan 2
