NJ Mega Meet – May 12th
The NJ MEGA MEET will be a meet up for photographers, models and creatives. From 1:30-4pm everyone will be given a tour of the Arts District, the Ducktown neighborhood and encouraged to explore the rest of Atlantic City. There will be a gallery exhibit showcasing New Jersey Photographers and a reception from 6-8pm.The Moon Beast is partnering with other popular Instagram accounts like @SouthJerseyAdventures, @JerseyCollective, @NJSpots and @NewJerseyIsntBoring with a combined following of 50,000+ people. Together we’ll be able to call upon thousands of photographers and artists from all over New Jersey and Tri-state area.

3rd Annual Middletown South Food Truck Fest – May 12th
Enjoy the 3rd Annual Food Truck Festival, featuring all of your favorite food trucks from last year, and several new trucks! Family Friendly event featuring a live band, DJ, Rolling Video Games, and Laser tag.

Lake Hopatcong Foundation’s 4th Annual Block Party – May 13th
The fourth-annual event, to be held from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, May 13, 2017 (rain or shine), at Hopatcong State Park, will bring together businesses, community groups, craft vendors, food trucks and local restaurants. There will be a children’s area, demonstrations, bands and opportunities to have a short boat ride provided by Bridge Marina and Lake Hopatcong Cruises. Limited parking is available at the Hopatcong State Park with a suggested donation of $6. Free, offsite parking is located in nearby lots with free shuttle services to and from the park.

Historic Smithville’s Children’s Festival – May 13th
Historic Smithville hosts a Children’s event every Spring. It is a day full of family fun and activities for all ages!Popcorn, face-painting, animals, train rides, and games are just some of the events to look forward to! Admission to the Children’s Festival is free, while there are some free activities, others will have a small fee.

Spirit of the Jerseys – New Jersey State History Fair – May 13th
The 2017 Spirit of the Jerseys State History Fair is set for Saturday, May 13th at Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Manalapan, NJ. This is the only statewide event where visitors can experience five centuries of NJ’s history in one place. It started in 2004 as a celebratory event marking the 100th anniversary of NJ’s State Historic Sites. 2017 will mark the Fair’s 13th anniversary. Its goal is to engage the public in discovering NJ’s history in a fun and enjoyable manner.

What’s on Tap Craft Beer Festival – May 13th
For one day, two great and storied American crafts come together to bring you the inaugural “What’s on Tap” Beer Festival. Over 25 craft brewers will showcase their finest beers on the idyllic, lakeside pinelands of the WheatonsArts and Cultural Center. WheatonArts can trace its roots back to 1888 When Dr. Theodore Wheaton first started his glass empire that would soon expand to 41 factories nationwide and garner a reputation as the center of commercial glass manufacturing in the United States. Just as the craft brewer spends much time and care formulating the perfect beer recipe so too does the master glass blower.
