Top Ten New Jersey Events for Memorial Day Weekend:
May 26th – 29th – Wildwoods International Kite Festival
The largest kite festival in North America featuring kite makers from around the world flying their most incredible colorful creations! Event is held on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festival kicks off on Friday at 12 noon with the ‘Unlocking of the Ocean’ ceremony on the beach next to the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festivities follow with the opening of the kite sales tent and the 9 p.m. illuminated kite fly. Saturday and Sunday include the East Coast Stunt Kite Championships on the beach, beginning at 9 a.m., as well as kite workshops and family games. Monday will feature the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. where kite fliers will showcase their impressive ability to fly a kite without wind! Entire event is FREE to spectators!

May 27th – The 2017 Pork Roll Festival
The Official 2017 Pork Roll Festival ® in Trenton, NJ. Experience the world’s largest selection of pork roll food items and meet new friends. See the finale of the Pork Roll Queen Pageant & Recipe Contests with 9 hours of live bands, 30 food trucks and food vendors, snacks, merchandise and craft vendors, kids entertainment and adult refreshments in a beautiful park.

May 27th – Waterfront ARTS Festival 2017
Art enthusiasts are not the only ones who will appreciate the festival. Visitors will embrace the culture of many local and regional talented artists, who showcase their original oils and acrylics, vibrant watercolors, prints, unique sculptures, dazzling jewelry, decorative ceramics, hand-made items, and vivid photography. Festival attendees will be treated to 5 bands taking the stage throughout the day playing Latin sounds, rock, folk, jazz and acoustic music. A food court will feature over a dozen local eateries and food trucks.The family-friendly festival will also feature free arts and crafts activities for children and community mural that everyone can participate in creating!

May 27th – Brigantine Art Walk
The Brigantine Art Walk is a community of artists dedicated to supporting the Arts in our community by providing local artists exposure to the residents and visitors to Brigantine. The prestigious United States Navy Blue Angels Jet Demonstration Team in their powerful F-18 Hornets will highlight the 2017 Millville Wheels & Wings Airshow on Memorial Day Weekend! Feel the thunder of powerful jets, military aircraft and warbirds, see exciting aerobatics and formation flying, and enjoy hundreds of beautifully restored classic cars. The Highlands Business Partnership will host the 17th Annual Seaport Craft Show, rain or shine from 10 am – 4 pm. Admission is free. Come experience a delightful collection of various handmade crafts from more than 60 crafters and artisans. Shop till you drop for unique gifts, art, jewelry and personal items at this Juried Show.
