The North To Shore Jersey festival
Now –June 11

This month-long New Jersey festival features all the talent, diversity and creativity this great state has to offer. Hosted by three incredible and unique cities, Atlantic City (June 4–11), Asbury Park (June 14–18) and Newark (June 21–25), the North To Shore festival will bring together 50+ venues for an over-the-top showcase of Jersey-wide. In addition to many rising stars, they will be joined by global headliners like Halsey, Santana, Bill Burr, Jay Wheeler, Stephen Colbert, Alanis Morissette, Marisa Monte, Demi Lovato, Daymond John, Natalie Merchant, The Smithereens, Southside Johnny, Brian Fallon of Gaslight Anthem and more. This lineup highlights New Jersey’s own and those who know that our state is the place to be seen

Annual Bayshore Greek Fest
June 8 – 11

Enjoy a taste of Greek Culture with Greek food, pastry, specialty items, folk dancing, music, rides, games, and prizes. Some of the mouth-watering gourmet menu items include traditional lamb shanks, pastitsio, moussaka, cheese and spinach pies (tiropites and spanakopites) and so much more! Complimenting the food is the culture of Greece. Festival goers will have the chance to partake in and also watch traditional Greek folk dances that are performed by costumed children from the various Kimisis dance groups. Music and entertainment is presented all weekend long. Free parking is provided at the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, a half mile from Kimisis Tis Theotokou, and a free shuttle transports visitors to the festival. On-site parking is available for visitors who need easy access to the festival.

Bloomfield Food Truck and Music Fest
June 9, 4 pm – 10 pm

Food! Beer! Music! Fun! It’s a fun filled family day. Over 20 Gourmet Food Trucks, music, pony rides, petting zoo, knockerball, hatchet tossing, inflatables, face painting, sand art, vendors & a beer, sangria & margarita garden. Bring your appetite, lawn chairs, pop ups and blankets. Dogs are welcome.

Annual Flemington Opa! Festival
June 9 – 11 (Rain or shine)
Enjoy Greek food, shopping, fun, and entertainment. Guests can dine indoors or outside under the tent, enjoying classic oven baked items and popular grill selections such as souvlaki and gyros. Greek pastries, coffee, wine and beer also available. All can enjoy carnival games, shopping, and folk dancing entertainment. Among the many charities supported, this year the parish is also fundraising to support the building of the St. Nicholas National Shrine at Ground Zero. Parking is free.

The Jersey City Record Riot
June 10, 9 am – 6 pm

It’s the return of the Jersey City Record Riot! Outdoors on the Grove Street PATH Plaza! Over 40 tables of LPs, CDs, 45s and more. Great music all day long. Free admission. Dealers from all over the New York area and beyond. GREAT live DJs, vintage clothes, jewelry and more. Come hang on the plaza and dig for vinyl with your friends.

Stafford Founders Day
June 10, 10 am – 9:30 pm, Rain date June 11

This year’s theme is “Surfs Up, Stafford”! Stafford Founders Day kicks off with a hometown parade at 10 a.m., leaving from the Fire House on Stafford Avenue and heading towards Route 9 North. All other festivities will take place at the Doc Cramer Sports Complex. The event also includes the crowning of Little Miss Stafford, Little Town Crier, Junior Miss Stafford and Miss Stafford. Entertainment will be provided by Ridgemont High. There will be food trucks, vendors and rides. The day will end with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.

South Jersey’s History Fair
June 10, 10 am – 4 pm

The goal of South Jersey’s History Fair is to provide a networking opportunity while exposing and piquing the interest of the public to what local South Jersey history has to offer. This free event will be held on the historic grounds of the Gabreil Daveis Tavern Museum House. Exhibitors include authors, historic committees and groups from counties across all of South Jersey.

Pet Palooza

Time for all of us to Bark in the Park! The Festival, together with Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter will be working to find forever homes for some amazing dogs and cats! Join between 15+ food vendors, live music, and games in addition to the famous doggie agility course, pet fashion show, and more! Activities for all ages.

The Passaic County Book Festival
June 10, 11 am – 4 pm

The Passaic County Book Festival will be an all-day event, featuring local authors, scholars, and poets across every genre. The event is a county-wide event that aims to promote and bring awareness to the arts and community through exchanging ideas, encouragement of continued research and creative expression, and the promotion of your local libraries. The County is partnered with PALS Plus to bring lectures, programs, and activities for all ages, centered around the written word. There will be games, activities, and author presentations all throughout the day

Rock Hunger V
June 10, 2 pm

A high-energy music festival, featuring several well-respected local bands. Groove along with great performances from The Attic, The Sticky Wickets, The Porch Rockers, and Mother Hubbard. Cash bar, menu available, tricky tray prizes and 50/50 raffle are available to attendants. All proceeds benefit NFSB programs including the Food Pantry.

7th Annual TD Bank Food Truck Festival
June 10, 4 pm – 8 pm

This family event feature a variety of the best food trucks from New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Over 20 food trucks are expected, in addition to vendors, music, on-track action, and more! Tthere will be plenty of food available for purchase – but that goes without saying. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating – lawn chairs, blankets, etc. – for maximum enjoyment of the festival! Please note that the majority of the festival will be held on grass, not asphalt like in years past.

Collingswood’s Second Saturday
June 10, 5 pm – 9 pm

Enjoy live music and art in Collingswood! Second Saturday was started by a collection of store owners that had an interest in promoting the arts in Collingswood. Each month from March to December visitors can plan a night on the town to experience the unique arts, music, shopping and dining Collingswood is known for. As always, Second Saturdays are free and there are local artists and musicians on Haddon Avenue. Just arrive & enjoy the culture.

New Jersey Renaissance Faire

A Renaissance Faire is a unique and magical phenomenon with this event featuring the English Renaissance version. There are six formal stages of entertainment with shows for the young and young-in-spirit, but truth be told, the entire Village of Crossford is a stage – and the show begins upon entering the castle gates! If you thought you would just sit through some droll rendition of a 16th century tale at the New Jersey Renaissance Faire, you are mistaken! Colorful characters, charming artists and playful scenes are all center stage during this year’s all-outdoor Faire. Walk through the gates and discover what many of us already know – the live interaction at this Faire is part of the fun! Outdoor improvisational theatre surrounds you throughout the magical shire of Crossford. There are dozens of scheduled shows, as well many that ‘pop up’ right before your eyes on the village paths.
