July 1st – 4th – PermaJam Music Festival
The 2nd Annual PermaJam Festival is July 1-4 @ Toye Recreation in Sussex, NJ ! Join us for an EPIC 4 days and nights of musical performances, permaculture, workshops, yoga, dance, art, bonfires, jamming, and hiking through the Appalachians, with vendors & yes, of course, food! This festival is a benefit to save, preserve, and enhance land, which includes organic food production, music + other events, community outreach, and much much more. 100% of the net proceeds are being donated to land owners that need our help to ensure their present and future prosperity for many generations to come.

July 2nd – Independence Day Celebration – Harrison Town Fair
Celebrate “Independence Day” and “Harrison Town Fair” on Sunday July 2, 2017 from 10am-6pm. The fair will host exciting activities such as Music, Food, Vendor Marketplace, Games and more!

July 2nd – Allaire Village’s Independence Day Celebration
The members of the Howell Iron Works celebrate the founding of our nation with the Independence Celebration. Experience a day in the life of people during the 1830s. The school master will be holding school lessons for visitors and villagers alike. Participate in a Militia drills and parade. The Declaration of Independence will be read at 2pm before the General Store. There will also be speeches, and fanfare. The ladies of the Temperance and Charitable Society present prizes to the best presentations. Then join the ladies for the Temperance Rally. This event is free for the public.

July 3rd – Rahway’s Independence Day Fireworks
Rahway’s Independence Day Fireworks will be displayed behind Rahway City Hall at 9 pm on Monday July 3rd. The best viewing areas will be along Main and Irving St. in the downtown area. Rain Date will be on Thursday July 6th in conjunction with our free movies on City Hall Plaza event.

July 4th – Historic Smithville’s July 4th Parade
Put on your red, white and blue and come out to one of the largest July 4th parades in New Jersey. Parade starts 9am at Smitty’s Shopping Center, marches down Smithville Blvd. ending at the Village Greene parking lot around noon.

July 4th – Long Branch 27th Annual Oceanfest

July 4th – Jersey City Freedom & Fireworks Festival
Celebrate our nation’s independence with the unparalleled 4th Annual Jersey City Freedom & Fireworks Festival at Liberty State Park! This year entertainment options have been expanded to include additional carnival rides, more live performers from 2 stages, constant kids entertainment, a large beer garden, and a smorgasbord of food options all with a stunning backdrop of Ellis Island and the NYC skyline. Jersey City’s own Kool & The Gang will headline the event taking the stage at dusk, just before one of the largest fireworks displays in the region.
