Beardfest

Margate Beachstock

This event features mouthwatering food, unique handmade crafts and featured retailers and sponsors will all be a part of this year’s event. Sand sculpting lessons with Matthew Deibert, Margate Fire Departments Cool Blast, Kid’s Treasure Hunt, limbo contests, surf lessons with Stacey’s Surf Camp, Air Circus Kite Shop single/double line stunt kite demonstrations and lessons, and WAWA Margate giveaways. The Margate City Police Department will be at their tent providing valuable public information and give aways.The activities take place on the beach between Huntington and Granville Avenues with food and beverages set up in the parking lot of the Martin Bloom Pavilion. Red Bull Foam Wreckers Soft Board Surf Classic will be alongside Beachstock Saturday, June 24! The anti-surf contest surf contest 2023 tour arrives in Margate where only soft boards, friends and fun are allowed.

Fox Park – Live Art Festival
June 24, 10 am – 6 pm
This event features an enjoyable family day out with a diverse collection of emerging artists exhibiting and selling their handcrafted works of art, from inspired paintings, decorative ceramics, novel jewelry, and more. There will be crafting demonstrations, hands-on family art activities, performing arts, stand-up comedy, and a beer station. There will also be a variety of gourmet food vendors and specialty food trucks as well. This festival offers something exciting for everyone.

Historical Society of Princeton Presents Annual Vintage ‘Base Ball’ Game
June 24, 11 am – 1 pm
Part game, part history lesson, and an all-around fantastic show of sportsmanship comes to Greenway Meadows Park this month for the Historical Society of Princeton’s Annual Vintage Base Ball Game. Families and guests are welcome to watch an inning or stay for the entire game, where the Flemington Neshanock will take on the New Brunswick Liberty in a competitive match of bare-handed ‘base ball,’ wearing period uniforms and using 1864 rules. Players from across the tri-state area will entertain and answer questions about the rich history of America’s favorite pastime. After the game, families and individuals of all ages are invited to take batting practice using authentic 19th-century equipment replicas! The event is free and open to the public, with no pre-registration required.
