Sourland Music Festival – July 23
The Sourland Music Festival is Central New Jersey’s premier live music event of the summer. Every year they bring people together with local food, great music, and a spectacular view. The Sourland Music Festival is hosted by the Sourland Conservancy, a non-profit organization that works to protect the Sourland Mountain region. The 90-square-mile Sourland region is home to the largest contiguous forest in Central New Jersey. The sparsely populated area includes parts of Somerset, Hunterdon and Mercer counties, and encompasses a complex ecosystem of forest, wetlands and grasslands. Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, some sun screen, and your sunglasses. Grab some local food, a cold beer, and lose yourself to a music lineup that covers the Blues, Folk, Jazz, and Rock.

The Hermitage Food Truck Festival July 23
The Hermitage Museum is holding a Food Truck Festival on July 23, 2016 from 11am 6pm. Admission is $5. Children under 5 are free. No pets please.
There will be a large variety of delicious foods to choose from. Explore different cuisines or just keep it simple. Its your choice!
Craft beer, live bands and fun activities for the kids will also be part of the days offerings.
Seating will be provided on our beautiful property, or you can bring a blanket and picnic the day away!
Come join us for great food and drink, terrific music, and a spectacular day at The Hermitage.

NJ Gamer Con July 23 & 24
Coming off its successful, inaugural launch in 2015, organizers are proud to announce the arrival of New Jersey Gamer Con 2016 to be held at the all new and beautiful convention hall at the LaQuinta Inns and Suites, located in Runnemede, New Jersey on Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday July 24th from 10 AM 6 PM. The event will have the latest in new age gaming culture along with the well regarded classics, all set around an action-packed, family friendly party.
The convention will host head to head competitive gaming tournaments, featuring Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and the classic arcade games Mortal Kombat II and Street Fighter II. Tournaments will be broadcast on the live streaming video platform Twitch, and winners will have the opportunity to win over $500 in gift cards and prizes.
In addition to the tournament floor, the convention will have a free play game console room, a 24-hour free arcade, a cosplay costume contest with prizes and over 50 gaming related vendor tables. Live music from the critically acclaimed band Pixel Face along with a live DJ will keep gamers grooving at night.
Free parking is available for all paid attendees and members of the media at the LaQuinta Inns and Suites, located at 109 9th Avenue, Runnemede, NJ, 08078.
New Jersey Gamer Con tickets are now available for purchase at $15 each, which includes two day entry to the event, entry to one tournament of choice, free play classic arcade, free play game console room, and a unique vendor marketplace.
