Festival of Trees
January 3– January 7, Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 am – 4 pm
Morven’s annual winter exhibition has become a must-see holiday tradition. Visitors enjoy the museum’s elegant galleries, mantels, and porches artfully decorated for the holidays by local businesses, garden clubs, and non-profit organizations. The installation is open to the public during regular museum hours, Wednesdays through Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Let It Glow a Holiday Lantern Spectacular
January 4 – January 7 (Thurs – Sun)
The Friends of the Bergen County Zoo are pleased to announce that a brand new winter event is happening! Let it Glow – A Holiday Lantern Spectacular. This Extraordinary event is located inside the Bergen County Zoo. Let it Glow is a symphony of vivid glowing colors to tease your eyes and dazzle the mind. Come and enjoy an enchanting stroll throughout the zoo. These larger-than-life lanterns are amazing in picture but stunning in person! With over 30 scenes, these hand-made artistic wonders are more breath-taking than the last!

Renault Winery Resort and Golf Vinter Wonderland

The Renault Winery grounds have been transformed into a festive winter wonderland! Come experience the Outdoor Renault Rink, designed for skaters of all ages and skill levels! Then, take a stroll through their Champagne Patio Garden and enjoy their spectacular holiday lighting displays. Sip on a Renault seasonal wine or warm up with a hot signature cocktail! Grab a quick, casual bite outside or make a dining reservation inside their newly renovated Tasting Room.

Gary Erbe Guided Exhibition Tour and Meet-and-Greet
January 5, 11 am
The Noyes Museum at Stockton University’s Kramer Hall invites you to a free guided tour through Gary Erbe’s Magical World exhibition with the titular artist himself, Gary Erbe. Erbe is a celebrated contemporary artist known for his unique blend of realism and trompe l’oeil techniques. His work combines flat space forms that are exaggerated and enhanced by shadow, light, and color, resulting in pure three-dimensional illusion. The guided tour and artist meet-and-greet will take place on January 5th, 2024, at 11:00 am. Attendees will have the unique opportunity of learning first-hand Erbe’s creative process and will gain insight into the inspiration behind his pieces. Free refreshments will also be served. The Gary Erbe’s Magical World exhibition is on display until January 26th, 2024, and is located at the Noyes Museum at Stockton University’s Kramer Hall, 30 Front Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037. Normal operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Sports Card & Collectible Show

Overtime Promotions brings a three-day Sports Card & Collectible Show to Deptford Mall on Friday, January 5 through Sunday, January 7 during mall hours in Center Court. Explore a diverse selection of sports memorabilia, collectible items, sports cards, apparel, and much more! With a wide range of vendors, you’ll find something to add to your collection or show off your team spirit.

Rahway Soup Stroll
January 6, 1 pm – 4 pm
Warm up this winter with some delicious soups! On Saturdays in January (6, 13, 20, & 27) from 1-4pm, individuals can bundle up and visit participating restaurants for a taste of their featured soups. The experience requires no registration, as it is a free event! To participate, one should visit the chosen restaurant, ask for a Soup Stroll Sample, and receive a free 4oz sample of the featured soup. Participants can then stroll outside to savor their soup, take a Souper Selfie at the establishment for a chance to enter the photo contest, and proceed to the next participating restaurant to repeat the enjoyable experience. By taking a Souper Selfie and entering a drawing, participants stand a chance to win one of four $25 Gift Certificates to their favorite participating Rahway Restaurant. To enter, individuals need to visit participating restaurants, snap a picture with their soup at that restaurant, and post it to their Instagram Feed or Story. Tagging @rahwayishappening and the restaurant (if they have an account) will earn them an entry into the drawing, with one entry allowed per Instagram account. For a bonus entry, participants can post a photo with an additional purchase they make at a participating restaurant and tag @rahwayishappening and the restaurant.

Wildwood Fishing and Boating Expo

The annual event has expanded their vendor area to over 70,000 sq ft, featuring a minimum of 8 boat dealers, to provide attendees with more options, choices, and boats to explore, feel, and purchase. Additionally, there are 100 booth vendors offering everything needed for a successful 2024 Fishing & Boating Season.

Terhune Orchard’s Winery Weekend Music Series
January 6 & 7, 12 pm – 5 pm
Families and friends are invited to the winery music series this Winter. Attendees can grab a glass of the award-winning wines, sit back, relax, and savor live music from local artists each week. The music styles vary from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock, taking place from 1 pm to 4 pm. Guests can bask in the fresh farm air in the historic apple orchard or seek comfort on inclement weather days in the heated wine barn.

65th Annual Model Train Show

January Vinyasa and Vino
January 7, 11 am
Join Bellview Winery for a monthly yoga program, Vinyasa and Vino, at the winery starting at 11 am. Led by Joy Torres, RYT 500, the one-hour Vinyasa class is suitable for all levels and beginners. Afterward, choose a wine to unwind; tickets are $20, inclusive of a glass of wine. Bring your yoga mat, water, and a friend. Arrive by 10:45 am to set up. Attend with a friend for a chance to win a bottle of wine and a gift!

Experience the Battle of Princeton
January 7, 9:30 am – 1 pm
The Princeton Battlefield Society (PBS) will mark the 246th anniversary of Battle of Princeton – fought on Jan. 3, 1777- with its signature educational event, “Experience the Battle of Princeton”. A narrated reenactment of a portion of the Battle of Princeton will begin at 10:00 a.m. featuring reenactors portraying Crown and Continental forces. The reenactment will conclude by 11 a.m. Attendees will then have an opportunity to interact and converse with living historians and battle reenactors. At 11:30 a.m., the New Jersey Society, Sons of the American Revolution will join other hereditary organizations as well as representatives of legacy National Guard and British Army units whose antecedents fought at the battle in a wreath laying ceremony at the Memorial Grove behind the Colonnade on the battlefield. Tours of the historic Thomas Clarke House, the only building on site remaining from the time of the battle, will also be offered beginning at 1:00 p.m.
