To promote dining options that are Made With Ingredients Grown in Monmouth County, The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, through the County Division of Economic Development’s, Grown in Monmouth program is sponsoring Made With Ingredients Grown in Monmouth Restaurant Week from Sunday, July 28th – Sunday August 4th.

25th Annual Clamfest
August 1 – 4

The famous Clam Festival is a four-day spectacular event featuring a 120’ seafood court serving the freshest food from many of Highlands’ famous restaurants. Admission and parking is free, and the event takes place rain or shine. Clam Fest will feature a Beer and Wine Garden, specialty vendor’s marketplace and the succulent food court.

Woofstock Atlantic City

NJ State Fair

The New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm and Horse Show is an annual event held during the first week of every August at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. A traditional agricultural fair, it offers livestock competitions, food tasting competitions, 4-H competitions and exhibitions, crafts, and AHSA-sanctioned horse competitions, including the Sussex County Grand Prix and the Lou Dobbs Show, Show Jumping Hall of Fame Amateur-Owner Classic. Other fair favorites include an annual fiddlers contest, a Queen of the Fair competition, demolition derby, oxen and tractor pulls, carnival rides, and exhibits from local organizations. Fair proceeds are donated to local charities, which is a tradition dating to 1933.

Jersey Fringe Festival

Jersey Fringe is a 3-day event featuring multiple theatrical productions at a variety of venues within walking distance of the central location and ticket hub, The Eagle Theatre. Multiple Producing Organizations will offer eclectic, unique selections for festivalgoers throughout the entire weekend. Also featured will be a Beer and Wine Garden, Pop-Up Art, Food and Art Vendors, Live Music and More! Jersey Fringe is the ultimate social experience not to be missed!

Craft Beer, Music & Crab Festival
August 3, 10AM – 6PM

An all-day festival featuring local and regional craft beers to wash down favorite summer foods … steamed crabs, pulled pork, crab cakes, shrimp and hot dogs, as well as food from regional vendors. Plus an all-day music on outdoor stage , an old-fashioned Victorian circus with jugglers and acrobats from the Give & Take Jugglers, a crafts and collectibles show.

Monmouth Park’s Italian Festival & Wine Tasting
August 3, 11AM – 5PM

Just Peachy Festival

The weekend will be filled with plenty of activities for kids, including a ride through the orchards on our tractor-drawn wagons, pony rides, face painting, games and barnyard fun. Enjoy live music each day noon-4pm. Pick Your Own peaches will be available. Admission fee includes chef demonstrations, wagon rides, pedal tractors, barnyard of animals, music, play tractors, and children’s games

Downtown Wildwood Inaugural Rib-Off Festival
August 3 & 4

Rib off Weekend will consist each day of some of the Best Food trucks from the tri-state area along with some far and near tent “Smokers”selling their products along with competing for the coveted title of the Champion of the Best Wildwood Rib-Off Winner. there will also be some Artisan & Rib Related Vendors, Free Family and Kids Activities to include but not limited to Corn Hole, Kam Jam, Lawn Jenga, Connect Four, and Face Painting and Bounce House for the kids). There will be Wine & Craft Beer Tasting & sale in Garden/Tent area. Rib Cook Off Contest.
