Big Brew Beer Festival

This premier event offers beer enthusiasts an incredible opportunity to sample a diverse selection of craft beers, enjoy live music, indulge in delicious food, and support a great cause.With over 175 unique beer styles available for tasting, attendees will have the chance to explore a wide range of flavors while engaging with brewery representatives. The event format has been updated this year to include one extended four-hour session along with an exclusive VIP hour for a more intimate experience.

New Jersey Events February 26 – March 2:

LSC After Dark: Pink Pony Club
February 27, 6 pm – 10 pm

Call me hot, not pretty! Did someone say #LSCAfterDark is coming in H-O-T-T-O-G-O with a Pink Pony Party event? On February 27th, break out a cowgirl hat and get ready for some sparkly pink fun! The plan is to keep on dancing all night long (or until 10pm). You can peruse the JC Oddities Market for a unique gift or check out the LSC After Dark debut of the new premium exhibit, Titanic. A great party, delicious bites and drinks, and a twist of science! Liberty Science Center presents LSC After Dark, exclusively for guests 18 and up on special Thursday nights from 6:00 – 10:00 pm. Each event features a fun theme with a menu to match, dance floor, live DJ, a full bar (for guests 21+) and planetarium and laser shows. And all of the museum’s exhibits are open, too!

New Jersey Home and Garden Show
February 28 – March 2

The New Jersey Home & Garden Show features a diverse range of activities and offerings. Attendees can explore the expertise of hundreds of exhibitors and home improvement professionals who are prepared to provide assistance. Additionally, there is a marketplace where visitors can engage in shopping for unique gifts, accessories, art, and home decor. For families with children, the event includes kids’ activities such as balloon animals, make-and-take crafts, and old-fashioned games, ensuring an enjoyable experience for attendees of all ages.

Wine & Chocolate Mardi Gras 5k Run @ Renault Winery
March 1, 10 am

Renault Winery is hosting the Wine & Chocolate Mardi Gras 5K Run on Saturday, March 1, 2025, rain or shine. The event kicks off with a 1 Mile Kids Fun Run at 9:45 AM, followed by the 5K Run at 10:00 AM. Participants can enjoy a scenic run with chocolate, wine, and post-race festivities. Runners over 21 will receive a stemless glass keepsake, a wine sampling, and a chocolate finisher’s medal, while those under 21 will receive a chocolate medal. Registration is $40 for the 5K ($30 for runners under 21) and $20 for the Kids Fun Run, with race-day prices slightly higher. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in various age groups, with gift cards to Renault Winery for first-place winners.

Downtown Irish Festival
March 1, 12 pm – 6 pm

Nutley’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 1, 1 pm

A popular St. Patrick’s Day parade is returning to Nutley for 2025. The parade will commence at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Evergreen Street, proceed north along Franklin Avenue, and conclude on Chestnut Street, with the review stand located in front of John Walker Middle School.

Brewsology Beer Fest
March 1, 7 pm – 11 pm

The Brewsology Beer Fest is the boozy hybrid of your middle school museum field trip. Taking over the Liberty Science Center after hours, the event will feature dozens of local craft breweries and cideries and will give attendees access throughout the museum including exhibits, science demonstrations and access to brewery reps.

Princeton Restaurant Week
March 1 – 7

The annual celebration of our community’s vibrant culinary scene. Check out a new spot, catch a bite at a familiar favorite, or enjoy a curated meal at an enviable eatery. Many participating restaurants will offer not only special Restaurant Week menus, but also prix fixe and reduced pricing during the event.

This 2-week event could not happen without the amazing restauranteurs, chefs, bakers and all the staff front of house and back of house that make your dining out possible. These events are meant to introduce the community to the wealth of food possibilities in Jersey City so please continue to support local food.

Laurita Winery Irish Weekend

Laurita Winery’s Irish Weekend is a lively celebration of Irish culture, featuring delicious food, live music, and festive entertainment. Guests can enjoy authentic Irish fare, including traditional dishes and specialty drinks, while listening to energetic performances from Irish bands and musicians. The event also includes family-friendly activities, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Bergenfield High School Flea & Collectible Market
March 2, 9 am to 4 pm

This vendor market will have approximately 50 exhibitors selling an array of quality items such as arts & crafts collectibles, new items that include handbags, sports collectibles, jewelry for all ages, clothing, gift items, video games, vintage jewelry, gloves & scarves, toys, perfumes, and gently used items. It is held indoors in the cafeteria and the gym. Be sure to visit both rooms so you get to see all the great items on display. This event is hosted by the Bergenfield HS Parents Association. They will have a food concession in the cafeteria. We hope you will come join us and support this fundraiser. Admission is free to the public.

Holistic Health & Healing Expo – Learn How to Heal Body, Earth and Soul!
March 2, 11 am – 5 pm

Hundreds of leading-edge thinkers and practitioners in natural health, spiritual elevation, and sustainable living will be on hand demonstrating their latest products and services. Visitors to the expo can expect inspiring workshops, valuable and up-to-date information covering everything from alternative healing and sustainable living to organic, holistic coaching, homeopathy and integrative medicine. Additionally, there will organic vegan desserts and food vendors, CBD vendors as well as experts in pet nutrition and behavior.

Belmar Lake Como St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Belmar-Lake Como Saint Patrick’s Day Parade has grown into one of the largest parades in New Jersey. Enjoy bands, bagpipers, floats, and marching bands. This is a fun-family friendly event, be sure to wear lots of green and shamrocks.

Rutherford’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 2, 1 pm

The Rutherford St. Patrick’s Day parade is Sunday, March 2, at 1 p.m. It is among the newer parades in New Jersey and is organized by the Rutherford Irish American Association, established in 2017.

Gloucester City’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 2, 1 pm

Parade begins at Martin’s Lake (Johnson Blvd. and Francis St.) and continues down Monmouth Street. Featuring: String Bands, Bagpipes, Irish Dancers, Irish Music and more.

Maple Sugar Fest at Reeves Reed Arboretum
March 2, 1 pm – 4 pm

Enjoy a brisk winter afternoon learning the steps involved in turning tree sap into delicious maple syrup. The whole family will enjoy spending the day outdoors, hiking on trails, and partaking in a Maple Sugaring Challenge! Also enjoy some hot chocolate, maple vendors, and more. It’s going to be a sweet day. This event will be held rain or shine; no refunds.

Cost: Maple Sugaring Fest is FREE for RRA Members and children under 3. The cost for Non-Members is $5 per person, $25 maximum per family.
