Holy Trinity Winter Feast 2024

The winter feast encompasses an array of offerings, including delectable Greek cuisine, homemade Greek pastries, traditional dance performances by Greek groups, music provided by DJ JTK Entertainment, and the option for both dine-in and take-out services.

Tap the Sugar Maples
February 3, 11 am – 3 pm
Hundreds of sugar maple trees line the banks of Moore’s Creek and the nearby woods at the foot of Baldpate Mountain. Each year in February farmers begin the annual work of sap collection and maple syrup production. Visitors can join Howell Farm’s expert tree tappers for a lesson on how to tap a backyard maple tree and make syrup at home. Outside activities include firewood cutting, rail splitting, and if conditions permit, a continuation of ice harvesting operations.

Atlantic City Wing Fest
February 3, 12 pm – 4 pm
Wing enthusiasts, beer connoisseurs, and music lovers, rejoice for the Atlantic City Wing Fest awaits you! On Saturday, Feb. 3, 2023, from noon to 4 p.m., 21 renowned South Jersey establishments will vie for the coveted title of best wing at the festival presented by 103.7 WMGM Rocks and Golden Nugget, sponsored by Paris Produce. From Michael Patrick’s Brasserie to Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, experience a wing extravaganza at venues like Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall, Wingcraft Kitchen & Beer Bar, and more. Attendees, aged 21 and above, can savor unlimited wings from participating spots and cast their votes for the ultimate wing. Professional judges will also provide their unbiased verdicts, ensuring a flavorful and competitive event.

Winter Fire & Ice Festival
February 3 & 4, Saturday 10 am- 7 pm & Sunday 8 am – 4 pm
Witness the awe-inspiring Ice Sculptures crafted by Larry Watkins and The Bikini Boys. Attendees can cozy up by the warm Fire Pits, enjoy delightful Wine Tastings courtesy of Cream Ridge Winery, and explore unique handmade creations from skilled Makers. Indulge in delectable bites from Food Trucks, peruse the offerings at the Village Shoppes, and engage with captivating Animal Exhibits. This event is pet friendly.

Jersey Art Book (JAB) Fair
February 3 & 4, 10 am – 7 pm
Presented by Dense Magazine for the second year in a row, Jersey Art Book (JAB) Fair features over 100 exhibitors with art books, zines, posters and other print ephemera for purchase. Meet book artists, independent publishers and small presses from the US and Europe, representing emerging and established practices across genres. JAB Fair also features a full Schedule of Programs over both days – from workshops, demos and readings to panels, Q&A’s and presentations PLUS much more! Guest curated by Christopher and Kathleen Sleboda, publishers of award-winning Draw Down Books, highlights of the weekend include: “Kim’s Office,” hosted by legendary Paper Magazine cofounder (and Jersey native!) Kim Hastreiter; a Q&A hosted by award-winning photographer Kris Graves, a climate healing session with Nocturnal Medicine; and a pop-up paper-making residency hosted by Newark artist Amanda Thackray.

Maple Sugaring at the Environmental Education Center
February 3 & 4
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the process of tapping trees, observe both historical and current sap-collecting methods, and witness the boiling process that results in the creation of delectable New Jersey maple syrup. The outdoor program, lasting 60 minutes, takes place at the Sugar Shack, located a ½-mile hike from the EEC. It is advised that attendees arrive at the EEC 30-40 minutes prior to the program’s commencement to acquire tickets and embark on the hike to the Sugar Shack, where they will meet their Naturalist. Suitable attire for prevailing weather conditions is recommended, and wearing boots is advisable, given the potential for wet, muddy, and/or snow-covered trails.

Lambertville New Hope Winter Festival – Chilli Cookoff
February 4, 12 pm – 3 pm
The highly anticipated winter celebration showcases a Chili Cook Off Competition involving over 10 local restaurants vying for the coveted title of Winter Festival’s 2024 CHILI COOK OFF CHAMPIONS! Participants can indulge in an unlimited supply of chili and beer during the Cook Off (*complete with a 2024 Commemorative Pint Glass). Winners stand to receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Trophies, along with bragging rights for both People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice Awards.

14th Annual Beef & Brew Highlands St. Patrick’s Day Parade Fundraiser
February 4, 3 pm – 7 pm
Proving Ground, 56 Shrewsbury Ave. Highlands, will host the 2024 Beef & Brew St. Patrick’s Day Parade Fundraiser on Sunday, February 4th, from 3-7PM. Tickets are $45.00 and includes buffet dinner & 2 beer tickets. There will be a gift auction and a pipe band to entertain. All proceeds to benefit the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
