Top Ten New Jersey Events for December 1st – 3rd, 2017:
Holiday on Haddon Township Festival – December 1st
Santa Claus is coming to town on Friday, December 1st for the annual “Holiday on Haddon” celebration. The “Parade of Lights” sponsored by the Westmont Fire Company No.1 will begin at 7:00 pm and make its way down Haddon Ave. to the municipal building. Decorated fire trucks, bands, floats, holiday characters and, of course, Santa will all be parading their way to the Township tree. The tree lighting ceremony will take place immediately following the parade where all of Santa’s helpers will be encouraged to magically light the tree. Afterwards, families are invited for refreshments at the Westmont Fire Company No. 1 and children will get a chance to sit on Santa’s lap before he returns to the North Pole. There is no rain date for the parade. Refreshments and photos with Santa will still be held at the Westmont Fire house in case of inclement weather.The Township will also be collecting unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items for the Annual Holiday Toy Drive that evening.

Maple Shade Holiday Festival/Tree Lighting – December 1st
Maple Shade Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting! There will be food trucks, costume parade, games, lots of vendors for holiday gift shopping and of course Santa and his reindeer!

Krampus Asbury Park – December 1st & 2nd
For the third year in a row, Asbury Park is celebrating…Krampus! This unique holiday event will take two days and feature a film festival, holiday photos, caroling, and the reading of the naughty list.

Christkindlmarkt – December 1st – 3rd
Tuckerton Seaport rolls out the holly for the Annual Christkindlmarkt on December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This is a family fun three day event with late night hours on Friday, celebrating the traditions of the season with a Holiday Market and Craft Fair under a huge heated tent and throughout the Seaport buildings. Come jump start your holiday shopping. Get in the holiday spirit with a horse drawn wagon ride.

Pitman Winter Village – December 2nd
Come shop locally made goods under twinkling Christmas lights during Pitman’s Winter Village! Trolley rides will transport you along the downtown district. Shops & restaurants will be open late. Carolers will be singing throughout town. Santa will be at Christmas Village for those looking to kick off the magic of the season.
