Latino Food Truck Festival at Laurita Winery

This family-fun-filled day of relaxation takes place on the grounds of Laurita Winery — a great place to enjoy outstanding wines with friends and family. Pair their delicious wines with the many delicious food offerings available from onsite food trucks. Wine and dine while listening to top live musical artists. Each visitor will be given a unique souvenir Laurita wine glass. Other treats include Latin DJ segments between each live show, with fantastic fireworks (Saturday evening) and access to many unique and popular food trucks.

Aw shucks! This incredibly popular seafood event with Tiger’s Tale Bar & Grill of Princeton has returned for a third year, now expanding for the whole weekend! Food buffet will be available each day, 1-4PM. Music and wine will keep going until 5PM. Special reserve tasting of library chardonnays: $20 for purchase day-of. Enjoy music from The Hot Club of Philadelphia on Saturday, and Bill Bang Trio on Sunday. 1 glass of wine included with each ticket purchase. Additional oysters available a la carte.

The Vintage Area will have vendors selling items such as antiques, collectibles, vintage, retro, and repurposed items, shabby chic décor, vintage jewelry and clothing, sports cards, collectible glass, vintage dolls, vintage China, and much more. The Arts & Crafts area will have makers selling original paintings, sculptures, printmaking, origami, photography, fiber art, and metal art. Artisan personal care soaps, lotions, scrubs, body butters, and serums. Magnets, pins, keychains, and mirrors from customer photos. Rustic wood flags. Designer jewelry & accessories and permanent jewelry. Handmade candles, high tea trays, pillows, collapsible stools, nightlight projectors, 3D printed products, friendship bracelets, scrunchies, doll shoes and dresses, and more. Come hungry and enjoy a relaxing lunch at our gourmet food trucks while enjoying the live entertainment. This event is a fundraiser for the Clifton Recreation Department.

Latin Festival: Tacos & Tequila
August 2, 11 am – 5 pm
The Latin Festival: Tacos & Tequila, sponsored by Surfside and The Asbury Park Press, will take place on Sunday, August 2. Attendees can enjoy delicious offerings from over a dozen Latin food trucks—including mozzarepas, taquitos, and empanadas—paired with homemade tequila specials. The event features live music by Xol Azul from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., along with a variety of free family fun day activities such as clowns, face painters, pony rides, and a bounce house.

Atlantic Highlands Food Truck and Music Fest
August 2, 12 pm – 9 pm
This lively event will feature 18 gourmet food trucks offering a wide range of delicious options, including Angry Archies, Chick Wings N Things, Empanada Mania, House of Cupcakes, Taste of Napoli, and more. A beer and sangria garden will offer selections from Lone Eagle Brewing, margaritas, daiquiris, and strawberry vodka lemonade. In addition to live music (bands TBA), attendees can enjoy vendors, face painting, and a fun-filled day by the water. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets and spend the day relaxing in the sun. The event is produced by Just Jersey Fest and Atlantic Highlands Recreation.

La Festa Italiana

La Festa Italiana celebrates Italian heritage and spirituality and is an evening of music, dance, and authentic Italian foods. For the first time ever, the Corn, Tomato & Beer Festival is coming to Historic Main Street. The Old Bridge Township Department of Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the revival of Saltwater Day! The event will have arts, crafts, vendors, new rides, carnival game trailers, entertainment, food and conclude with a fireworks show. Live music will be played throughout the day. For guests 21 and older, the Laurence Harbor Fire Department will be hosting a Beer Garden for $10/person, which includes a mug and two drink tickets. Additional tickets are $2 each, and proof of age is required.

Trudy Fest – Celebration of Gertrude Ederle, 100 Years!

Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Gertrude “Trudy” Ederle’s historic English Channel swim at Trudy Fest, a one-of-a-kind waterfront celebration honoring one of America’s greatest athletes and Highlands’ hometown heroine. Gertrude Ederle trained in the waters of Highlands, where her family summered, before making history on August 6, 1926, by becoming the first woman to successfully swim the English Channel. Not only did she complete the crossing, but she also beat the previous men’s record, forever changing the world of sports and inspiring generations of athletes. Join at Veterans Park for an afternoon of live music by DJ Johnny Jonze, delicious food trucks, a wine and beer garden, specialty vendors, guest speakers, and family-friendly activities celebrating Trudy’s incredible legacy. Children ages 5 and up can enjoy Trudy’s Seaside Kid Zone, featuring Ocean-in-a-Bottle crafts, temporary tattoos, Color with Trudy at the Highlands Arts Council booth, Trudy’s Treasures Scavenger Hunt, Jellyfish Jiggle Toss, and the Sea Sponge Relay.
