New Jersey State Fair – Sussex County Farm and Horse Show

Middlesex County Fair

The Middlesex County Fair, taking place from August 5 to 11, is a lively event that brings together the local community for a week of family-friendly fun and entertainment. Salem County Fair

The Salem County Fair, held from August 5-9, 2024, is a family-friendly event celebrating agricultural heritage. With no admission fee and $20 parking for all five days, it provides an affordable and engaging experience for all attendees

Somerset County Fair

La Festa Itialiana

La Festa Italiana celebrates Italian heritage, spirituality and is an evening of music, dance and authentic Italian foods. It’s fun filled with games, an hourly 50/50, and terminates with the Super 50/50 raffle drawing. The festival will honor the Veneration of Our Lady of the Assumption and Saint Rocco. Each night Live Bands perform on the Mainstage. Perfect for grabbing a Sausage & Pepper Sandwich and a Beer and watching this great performance

Atlantic County Fair
August 9 & 10
The Atlantic County 4-H Fair, taking place on August 9-10, 2024, at the Atlantic County 4-H Fairgrounds in South Egg Harbor City, NJ, offers free admission and $5 parking. The event features a car show, crab cake and chicken BBQ dinners, baby and pet parades, a pie-eating contest, and more. Ride specials are available with wristbands for $25 per day. The fair provides family-friendly fun with a variety of activities and exhibits.

The New Jersey Sunflower Trail
Now – Labor Day. Festival Dates August 10 and 11
The New Jersey Sunflower Trail is now open for visitors. It features Sunflower Festivals on August 3-4, and August 10-11, promising a summer highlight with food trucks, a beer and wine garden, live music, axe throwing, and crafters. For weekend fun starting July 20-21, enjoy hayrides, an Activity Area, and additional food options, including beer from Buttzville Brewing Company. Weekday activities include exploring the sunflower trail, taking photos at over 20 spots, picking fresh raspberries and peaches, and visiting farm animals.

Heart of the City Festival

Established in 2021, Heart of the City promises an array of immersive family-friendly activities. Attendees can look forward to a variety of vendors, small businesses, and talented artists showcasing their unique creations. This year’s event will feature captivating performances by local musicians, music by a live DJ, and an interactive art installation that allows festivalgoers to enjoy a photoshoot moment.

RevNJ Racing Series – Monmouth Battlefield State Park

Join RevolutionNJ on August 10th at Monmouth Battlefield State Park for a 5k race and one-mile family fun walk! For those who do not wish to run, you can enjoy a leisurely one mile stroll across the battlefields, participate in historical activities, and cheer on the runners competing in the 3.1 mile race. New Brunswick Heart Festival

The annual New Brunswick Heart Festival, hosted by New Jersey Hall of Famer Bert Baron and Founder of TSO Productions, Sharon Gordon! The Old Bridge Township Department of Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the revival of Saltwater Day! The event will have arts, crafts, vendors, new rides, carnival game trailers, entertainment, food and conclude with a fireworks show. Live music will be played throughout the day. For 21 and older guests, the Laurence Harbor Fire Department will be hosting a Beer Garden for $10/person which includes a mug and two drink tickets. Ort Farms Flower Festival
August 10 & 11, 10 am – 5 pm
Ort Farms invites everyone to three beautiful weekends of flower-filled fun on the farm! Visitors can stroll through the U-Cut flower fields, grab a bite from Dellano’s or Ma’s Kitchen, enjoy live music daily from 1 pm to 4 pm, and even pick their own sweet corn.
