Hunterdon County 4-H Fair – Aug 24-28th
The Hunterdon County 4-H & Agricultural Fair was founded in 2000 to continue the tradition of a county fair in Hunterdon County after the dissolution of the Flemington Fair in 1999. Their mission is to celebrate our agrarian heritage by providing a county-wide Agricultural Fair for the residents of Hunterdon County and the surrounding area to promote agriculture, present educational exhibits, provide family entertainment, and offer competitive events for the agricultural community.

First Annual MakerFest – Aug 28th
Maker Depot will be hosting its First Annual MakerFest on Sunday, August 28, from 11 am to 5 pm. Located just minutes from NYC at 60 Commerce Way, Totowa, Maker Depot is NJs largest makerspace. The 6,000 square-foot, member-based workshop is hosting this community event to showcase makers and craftspeople from throughout the area. Exhibitors will demonstrate: 3D design & print, video game coding, blacksmithing, Cosplay, fine art, doll making, as well as wood, leather, metal wool, chainmail, stained glass designs. And MUCH more. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a community build throughout the day, working together to create a piece of furniture to donate to a Paterson Habitat for Humanity home.
