Top Ten New Jersey Events for August 18th – 20th, 2017:
Passaic County Fair – August 17th – 20th
Passaic County holds an annual County Fair on Garret Mountain. This year (2017) the fair will be held from August 17th to August 20th. The hours on Thursday/Friday are 6pm-11pm and Saturday/Sunday 3pm to 11pm. Rides, fireworks, live music, games, petting zoos, and many more attractions await you at the fair.

Chester Food Truck & Music Festival – August 19th
The Just Jersey Fest is rolling back into Chester Borough. Food! Beer! Music! Fun! New Jersey foodies, eat your hearts out! It’s a fun filled family day! Over 25 Gourmet Food Trucks, partnered with some incredible bands, make for an enchanting and fulfilling Summer day. Bring your appetite, lawn chairs and blankets. Dine on excellent food, while enjoying the beer and sangria garden along with the amazing sounds. Face painting, Sand Art, Rock Climbing wall and more. Event is a Benefit for the Chester First Aid Squad & The Historic Chester Business Asssociation. You can find them on Facebook at I love Chester, NJ. Canal Day Music & Craft Festival – August 19th
The Canal Day Festival is an old-time country fair that celebrates the heritage of the Morris Canal and its contributions to the development of the communities along its banks. The festival is now in its 42nd year. Come to a day of free family fun featuring over 100 unique craft vendors, great food, and educational events. Learn about New Jersey history by taking a Morris Canal guided walking tour provided by the Canal Society of NJ and visit the newly restored Lock 2 East. Experience life on the Canal first hand by traveling down the waterway on a free boat ride or prove your prowess by paddling a kayak. Learn about local and exotic wildlife. Experience the art of blacksmithing, visit a civil war encampment or lay back and enjoy listening to over 10 of New Jersey’s best musical performers. End the day with a fantastic fireworks display.

The Collingswood Crafts and Fine Arts Festival – August 19th & 20th
For the twelfth year, the Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival will proudly present 160+ craft and fine artists selected for the quality and variety of their latest work. Offering contemporary designs in wood, glass, clay, metal and fiber, the artists will be on site to discuss these works and share their passion for creating them.

Red Bank Food & Wine Walk – August 20th
Red Bank’s walkable downtown district is home to a broad array of upscale restaurants and casual eateries that will please everyone’s palate. Explore picturesque Red Bank while enjoying food and/or beverage samples at over 20 participating restaurants, bars & eateries.Each ticket is $35 and entitles you to a wristband, which you will pick up on the day of the event (proper ID required). You will be able to choose your pickup location when you purchase your tickets. All attendees must be at least 21 years old and must be present in order to pickup their wristband. When you pick up your wristband, you will also receive a map listing all of the participating businesses. The Food & Wine Walk is a self-guided tour. You are free to choose your own route & visit as many of the participating businesses as you like!
