Steampunk Boonton – Apr 29 – May 1
Boonton, New Jersey welcomes visitors for a weekend of entertainment, shopping, feasting, merrymaking, and art on April 29th, 30th, and May 1st for “Steampunk Boonton”. See creative works of art embracing the Neo-Victorian Age influenced by technology and industrial machinery, powered by fantasy and science fiction! Lots of interactive activities are planned. Admission is FREE!
The annual art event encompasses all things Steampunk, including: an Art Exhibit, Victorian Photo Portrait Session, Steampunk Paint & Sip Class, Steampunk Sculpt & Sip Class, Steampunk Fashion Exhibition and Contest, Scavenger Hunt, and Live Steampunk Music! Shop and dine along Main Street to further enjoy the weekend in Boonton, celebrating the art of Steampunk culture!
**Please dress creatively, and preferably in the Steampunk aesthetic!

Hackettstown’s Annual Spring Festival- Apr 29 – May 1
The Annual Spring Festival will take place in Hackettstown the last weekend in April, Friday to Sunday—April 29, April 30, May 1—on the fields behind Centenary College on 5th and Reese Avenues. This is a family favorite in the region and a fun way to welcome spring. Mars Chocolate North America and Hackettstown Regional Medical Center are the Festival’s primary sponsors. Honda of Hackettstown is also a proud sponsor of this event.

Somers Point Bay Fest – Apr 30
The Somers Point Bayfest is now the largest, single day festival in South Jersey. Come out and enjoy a day full of fun, food, crafts, music, and more presented by the Somers Point Bayfest Committee, the City of Somers Point, and local area sponsors. Great for all ages!

Monmouth County SPCA’s 22nd Annual Dog Walk & Pet Fair – Apr 30
The Monmouth County SPCA will be holding their 22nd Annual Dog Walk + Pet Fair April 30th at Brookdale Community College! We expect over 2,000 people and their pets, plus food trucks, over 150 vendors, activities and live demonstrations! The proceeds from this event directly help provide care and find forever homes for the thousands of homeless animals that pass through the Monmouth County SPCA every year.

Allaire BBQ and Brews – Apr 30
Join Allaire Village for a day of hops and hogs in the village! This is their first beer tasting in the village. There will be a general admission fee of $5. Then you can buy 10 tastes for $10. While you enjoy the festival explore the historic buildings, visit craft shops, listen to music and enjoy some good barbecue with family and friends!

Belmar Artwalk – Apr 30
This FREE & family friendly event takes place along Main Street from 5th through 13th Avenue including Belmar Pyanoe Plaza which is located in the heart of Belmar’s Business District! The ArtWalk showcases the talent of dozens of artists and participating businesses in the community and is held rain or shine. This year’s event will again feature a passport secret word prize drawing and roving street musicians/performers (weather permitting)!

Fifth Annual Pig Roast at the Vineyard – April 30
Join Unionville Vineyards for a lovely evening on the patio for roasted, succulent, portly pig, with homemade sides and appetizers from the Stlotzfus Amish Family Purveyors of the Trenton Farmers Market. Abe and his family will be serving up their homemade pies for dessert as well! Admission includes food, a selection of Unionville wines and Swine Sangria, and live music from Brad Staudle and Matt Setzer of New Hope, PA-based regional band “Moonbreaker.” They will perform classic rock, oldies, and folk covers and originals.

Spring Fling at Natali Vineyards -Apr 30
Spring is a beautiful time of year on our farm as the vines begin to wake up from their long winter nap. Our live entertainment for this Event will be the one and only Geno White Trio, playing from 1:30 – 5:30 pm. Tastings, sangria, wine by the glass, or purchase a bottle and grab a table in the vineyard. There will be a variety of different local vendors on hand. There is enough space for the entire family, including the dog! We also have a picnic area, a bocce ball court, and horseshoes. Our events are always FREE ADMISSION.

Smithville Renaissance Faire – Apr 30 & May 1
Join the players of the New Jersey Renaissance Faire and travel back to the days of yore and merry olde England as the Historic Village of Smithville is transformed into the Shire of Smithville in the heart of the English Renaissance. The good Duke of Northumberland has decreed merriment for all. This event is fun for the whole family and includes comedy, tragedy, sword fighting, dance, song, knights, jesters and so much more. Also stroll amongst the wares of the local vendors and traveling merchants sporting historical gifts and finely crafted items.

Kite Day at Terhune Orchards – Apr 30 & May 1
Kite Day is a perfect time to explore the farm during our spring festival – Saturday, April 30 & Sunday, May 1 – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Spring on the farm is one of the most beautiful and exciting seasons. All is ready for the bountiful growing season. Bring your own kite or choose a ready-made kite from the wide selection in the store. Or better yet, make a “guaranteed to fly” kite. Whichever you choose, test fly your kite in our wide-open 10-acre pasture with all the farm animals looking on.
The farm will ring with country music and entertainment all weekend. The whole family can tour the orchards and fields while riding in a tractor-drawn farm wagon. The sheep will be shorn on Sunday and the children can take home a piece of real fleece. There will be special activities and games for children in the barnyard. For all those hungry kite fliers, we’ll have lots of good country food. The whole family will enjoy Terhune Orchards’ famous apples, cider, donuts, pies, country chili, hot dogs, our own fresh and grilled asparagus, salads, soup and all kinds of cookies and goodies. Taste Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery wines in the tasting room.

Shadfest – Apr 30 & May 1
Always in the mood for a celebration, Lambertville residents hosted the first Shad Fest in 1981 to highlight the local art scene. The Shad Fest tradition was born as spring blossomed, the shad made their way upriver, and the locals strolled through town enjoying the arts and crafts of their friends and neighbors. 32 years later, Shad Fest has grown from a local event to an award-winning tourist attraction.

Cinco De Mayo at Bellview Winery – May 1
On May 1st Bellview Winery will be featuring authentic Spanish music with a flamenco guitarist, chips and salsa platters , a local food truck and most importantly, Sangria! For the first time this year we’ll be serving up our famous sangria in two different flavors. So bring your lawn chair and some sunglasses and come salsa with us! The celebration will be held at the winery from noon to 5pm. Wine tasting is $5 and includes 8 tastes of wine as well as a souvenir glass to take home.
