The Mountain View Diner in Middlesex: Review
I’m going to start this post with a Spoiler Alert…my review of the Mountain View Diner is going to be short and sweet.
This was a pretty straight forward diner review. The menu items are all your basic diner fare and a few intricate burgers. Their prices are super affordable, their wait staff is friendly, and their food comes out quickly! If you’re looking for a typical diner experience, the Mountain View Diner is for you.
The only thing I would comment on is the decor. It’s very outdated and a little ripped up, not that I minded, but the diner could use a makeover.
Because I arrived for lunch, I got to partake in one of their very affordable lunch specials which included soup and a drink. I couldn’t resist an unsweetened iced tea on a hot day.
For soup they only had two options, so I went with their split pea soup and got the croutons on the side. It was very good soup!
As for my meal, I didn’t get anything fancy, just a classic turkey on rye with fries on the side. Also very good!
Sometimes when a diner experience is average, it makes it tougher for me to write a review since there aren’t too many highlights. Overall, it was a decent experience that didn’t break the bank and if you’re looking for a diner in the area it’s a safe choice.
Also, I don’t know why it’s called the Mountain View Diner because I didn’t see a view of any mountains…
