Raise a Glass to Mom this Weekend at the GSWGA’s Mother’s Day Wine Trail
The Garden State Wine Growers Association, a coalition of over 60 New Jersey wineries and vineyards dedicated to supporting the Garden State’s wine industry through information, resources, and advocacy, is thrilled to announce The Mother’s Day Trail Weekend.
From May 9th – 11th, guests are invited to celebrate with loved ones and explore the diverse offerings of Garden State wine country during the annual Mother’s Day Trail Weekend.
Highlights of The Mother’s Day Trail Weekend include:
– Scenic vineyards with outdoor seating and live entertainment
– Exclusive Mother’s Day beverages and tastings guided by expert sommeliers
– Food trucks, crafts, cozy fire pits, market umbrellas, fresh flowers, and commemorative wine glasses
– Delectable brunch and lunch options, specialty desserts, and enticing wine flights
– And an array of other delightful surprises along the way!

Devon Perry, Executive Director of the Garden State Wine Growers Association, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, stating, “In our quest to showcase the unique character of our 60+ wineries and vineyards throughout New Jersey, we’ve found that celebrating the matriarchs of our families amidst the backdrop of these vibrant winery events is a truly unparalleled experience. With over 60 wineries and vineyards in four distinct American Viticultural Areas, the state’s wineries are concentrated in four main regions: Cape May Peninsula AVA, Outer Coastal Plain AVA, Warren Hills AVA, and Central Valley Delaware AVA. Each region has its unique characteristics and produces distinctive wines. These regions have been designated by the best resource for New Jersey Wines, the Garden State Wine Growers Association.Vineyards across New Jersey grow more than 80 grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sangiovese, Albarino, and Chardonnay. New Jersey’s wineries also produce a wide array of fruit wines, and New Jersey is one of the country’s top wine producers.
