Middlesex County Fair to Begin this Monday, August 4th
I am a big fan of the Middlesex County Fair. This year is the 76th anniversary! Here are the details:

The Middlesex County Fair Association today announced the full schedule for the 2014 Middlesex County Fair, to be held at the Middlesex County Fairgrounds in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
The fair, celebrating its 76th anniversary season, will offer a full slate of rides, food, craft vendors, entertainers, live music, and 4-H events, as well as king and queen, home arts and animal competitions. The county’s agricultural heritage will also be represented through animal and vintage farm equipment displays. The fair will be open Monday, August 4 through Friday, August 8 from 5 p.m. to 11 pm., Saturday, August 9 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, August 10 with expanded hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The tradition of affordable entertainment continues in 2014, with the fair offering an entry fee of seven dollars – among the lowest 
for county fairs in New Jersey – and free parking. Seniors 65 and over can enjoy a discounted $4 entry fee, and children 3-12 may enter the fair for $1. Children under 3 may enter for free, as well as anyone who donates blood at the Blood Center of New Jersey truck located at the fair throughout the week. “We’ve been a part of this community for 76 years, and we continue to provide Middlesex County with a family-friendly, reasonably-priced fair this year,” noted Alan Habiak, president of the Middlesex County Fair Association. “With the overwhelmingly positive reaction to our expanded hours for the 2013 fair, we’ve expanded them again this year.”
