Arendelle Comes to Morristown: Disney’s ‘Frozen’ Takes the Mayo PAC Stage This Weekend

A flurry of winter magic is headed straight for Morris County just in time for the weekend. The Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is kicking off its highly anticipated 2026 spring production of Disney’s Frozen, bringing the beloved, ice-capped kingdom of Arendelle to life right in the heart of Morristown.

Running from Friday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31, this spectacular production serves as Mayo PAC’s 12th Annual Spring Musical. It features a massive, powerhouse cast of 50 talented young actors representing seven different New Jersey counties.

Based on the wildly successful Academy Award-winning animated film, the stage musical expands significantly on the story of royal sisters Anna and Elsa. While audiences will get to hear live, show-stopping performances of all the movie’s classic anthems by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—yes, including “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”—the production also weaves in a dozen new songs written exclusively for the theater.

MPAC’s community productions are renowned for launching premier regional talent, and this weekend’s cast features some incredible local standouts:
Elsa: Played by Kendall Lemmerling of Monmouth Junction. Making her official MPAC mainstage debut, Lemmerling brings serious theater credentials to the ice queen, having previously starred in regional productions of Mean Girls (Cady) and Jekyll and Hyde (Emma).

Anna: Played by Alyssa Correa of Dover. Correa takes on the spunky, optimistic younger sister, pulling from her extensive training at Montclair State University and past leading roles in Carousel and Into the Woods.

Hans: Played by Cole Grey of Bridgewater. A member of the Actors’ Equity Association currently attending NYU, Grey returns to MPAC with Broadway experience under his belt from the cast of Fun Home.

Kristoff: Played by Caiden Loyer, an MPAC veteran previously seen in their major regional stagings of Newsies and Beauty and the Beast.

The production will run for five performances over the course of three days. Because of the show’s massive popularity, tickets for the Saturday afternoon matinee are already explicitly flagged as limited.

Venue Location: Mayo Performing Arts Center, 100 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.
Ticket Pricing: Seats range from $35 to $57 (inclusive of all processing fees) and can be purchased directly on the official MPAC website.

Whether you are bringing young kids experiencing the story live for the very first time, or you’re a lifelong musical theater fan looking to support incredible local artistry, Frozen promises an enchanting, memorable kickoff to the weekend.
